The place offers great Czech food at comfortable prices. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nice dinner\lunch at a homie place with warm atmosphere.

Wandering around Prague, it was lunchtime. We walked past this little place, saw the Trip Advisor sign in the window and decided to venture in. What a great decision! The service was friendly and efficient, the food tasty, plentiful and of excellent quality. Can highly recommend!

We had dinner at this Czech restaurant on our first night in Prague, because it was next to our apparmtent. The food was ok, but not superb. They serve simple traditional Czech food. The portions are huge and the prices small. Two of our group were vegetarian. The had an option of three vegetarian meals. The veggie dishes were ok,... More

Conveniently situated across the road from our hotel we were stepping into unknown territory but ended up quite well pleased. The place was quite busy - always a good sign - with a separate room for smokers. A long time since smoking as encountered in an eaterie. We both had soup. Julie had potato soup and I had garlic soup.... More

If you want great Czech food and beer for a reasonable price, visit this place. The furnishing is one of a kind. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recommend honey ribs and beer Démon.

We visited while staying nearby in accommodation booked by AirBNB. The restaurant was given as recommendation by owners of property. We were very happy with the quality of food and beers. The food was excellent quality and very large portions. Having taken a liking for dark beers while here in Prague ordered 2 large ones to have with meal and... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
