Best food experience we had in Prague. Lovely service and great dishes, good value for money (a bit more expensive than the average restaurant) Don't miss the foie gras.

Based on TripAdvisor reviews we booked a table online. We were welcomed most cordially by the extremely kind and competent waitress (owner?). Food was excellent, we had soups, each of them very good. Our mains were: duck confit and roast goose, also excellent. We shared a crème brulée. The wine list is good and we enjoyed as well the Czech... More

This place is very welcoming and friendly. Yes this place is pricey but it does not disappoint. I had the portobello mushroom to start which was lovely and well seasoned. My partner had the steak and foie gras which he said was the best he'd ever had. For mains I had the deer ragout which came with gnocchi and had... More

An excellent restaurant which offers a nice selection of wine and a great choice of high quality food. The place is small but in a good way, making it quiet and intimate for a lovely evening meal near to the Charles Bridge. The service was impeccable and our meal was so tasty. Having provided a great eating out experience, maintaining... More

Visited with my friend recently before heading to opera. Faultless! If you've been to Prague before you might already know it's quite rare to come across a restaurant with a really good service, but this one was just perfect. Me & my friend really enjoyed the food, I had the roasted goose leg with red cabbage and potato dumplings (yummy)... More

We visited Renomme (5 of us) on the second night of our visit. Modern, clean, Czech/French. Good wine list, though we went with the house white and red, both of which were very good.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
