We found this restaurant on our first night in Prague and were very impressed with the service, food and value for money. The stroganoff was delicious! Would definitely recommend.

Good food with friendly staff but not best interior feels like a cafe rather than a restaurant, had one meal there and good value

This is another " near me now" find on Trip Advisor. We wanted a neighborhood restaurant with Czech food for our last day. This was near our hotel and the trolley stop, but not on a main street. We had to look for it. Decor was 1960s. Good service. We seemed to be the only foreigners having a late lunch,... More

You probably won't just find this place if you're wandering around, but it's worth heading for if you want to sample hearty, traditional Czech food at very reasonable prices. It may be worth booking in advance - we were lucky that a table became vacant just as we arrived. We ordered dishes of pork and chicken which were delicious, quite... More

Restaurant is a bit away from the tourist areas but the food is well worth the trip. We had the goulash and the stroganoff - both excellent and great value for money. A definite recommend if looking for authentic and delicious local cuisine.

Me and my partner had arrived in Prague late in the evening and wanted something nearby to our hotel that was fairly priced and good honest food. We were not disappointed I had the Camembert with berries to start which gave me that warm feeling inside, it was so comforting and tasty. Mr partner had the duck which he loved.... More

Vidlicky became our "home" for our week in Prague. Their traditional Czech was the best we found. Their house speciality dishes were... not to miss. We even had hamburgers one evening - one of the best burgers I have had, ever. All their meat dishes were superb. Prices were about average "local" price - or half the normal "tourist" price.... We ate here twice during our stay in Prague, the food was very good, we went traditional on the first night having the duck leg and goulash, both every good. On the second night we had the hamburger and the salad, again huge portions and very tasty. The raspberry lemonade was delicious.
