We were looking for a traditional restaurant walking around in the city center and after several tourist places we came across this cost restaurant. The place itself does not look great but the food was very good. They serve some traditional dishes that tasted great! And at the end an awesome Italian coffee. Worth trying if you are around.

Been here several times for dinner. Great cozy, classy atmosphere. All the little things done perfectly. Waiters friendly and speak Czech, English and German, probably more. Food was outstanding. Soups, salads, main dishes, deserts. Fesh made with lots of love.

We had just had a terrible in one restaurant which we walked out of before being served and wandered into this one with hope of it being slightly better - thankfully it was! Our waitress was really friendly and though she didn't speak much English she was wonderful to us. She offered us a shot of some Czech spirit which... More

6 of us had the most delicious meal to finish off our weekend. No complaints, empty plates! Best meal we ate in Prague!

Popped into this lovely restaurant for dinner. Had the goulash - it was delicious and so tasty! Such a fab evening in this restaurant :-) and would definitely recommend! It was not expensive at all and full of culture!

One day after a dinner on Tomasska 6 that was less than awful, I found a little restaurant, Restaurant modrého hroznu (or the Blue Grape) on Husova 15 in Prague where delight exceeded a fearful entrée by at least a culinary kilometer. Imagine 2 small dining rooms each containing 4 or 5 tables. Candles on each table. The waiter, John... More

It has everything that I could have wished for! The food was great and the place was very cozy which is everything needed to keep a man happy and satisfied. The restaurant also has a some nice history! All in all it is a treat to the eye, stomach and mind.

Every time I visit Prague I make sure I have time to visit this place. The service is great, food is good and the history of the restaurant itself is very impressive. Just ask to see their visitor book!

We have been in a small room here, it looks nice but it was so cold here. I've asked of the waiter could turn up the radiator, but instead he told us that it was already "up and running". Food was good, but the serving sizes were rather small. Definetely cannot recommend this place (especially during Winter months).

The atmosphere in the restaurant was very cozy and relaxing. The staff was welcoming, providing an excellent service. I had pork with dumplings and cabbage, and it was so good that it took me a lot of self control to prevent myself from ordering another portion. I can totally recommended it!

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
