We had read the reviews before getting there and were warned about Jakub - it’s all true! The view is amazing and the food is exquisite but if you get offended easily by grumpy waiters - you might have a tough time dealing with Jakub

Right on the Vlatava, this restaurant serves top notch authentic Thai cuisine which left me longing to go again. A nice change to the usual Prague affair and definitely worth the time and money.

If you do not want to be called a c**t, please avoid visiting this restaurant. Just today we visited this restaurant, when politely wanting to ask for a child seat - we politely tried to waive at the waiter (later we got to know his...More

It was not bad but I expected little bit more. Menu for me disapointment. Hard to choose and what I would like would have to order one day before. Service great. Food also. Great place and view.

Not super authentic but good food and service. Prices are also reasonable. Great view over the river. Nice to visit at sunset.

A lot of people spot a big sign that reads "Thai Restaurant," on an elegant building across the Vltava from the boat tour docks. During the daytime, it looks barely occupied, even though it's open for lunch. But at night it really comes to life,...More

The Obcanska Plovarna Restaurant can boast a fabled Thai chef, Paramese ,,Mesy" Wongwan, who is regularly with imagination diversifying the complex menu, so it gives a true picture of the traditional orient recipes based on freshness and strength of the original foodstuffs. So the guests can taste the original Thai soups, spicy curry, sote, but also scrumptiously prepared sea fruits, fish or some of the specialities of the restaurant - for example Peking duck. The Restaurant offers excellent gastronomic experience in the scope of brunches, lunch feasting, afternoon snacks, but also late dinners as the Restaurant is open until 11pm. Also the wine fans will get their slice of the action. Our wine menu has been carefully composed by our sommelier and it represents a varied offer of wines coming from famous regions of the wine world and it is a sensitive digest of cultivars and tastes. The ambience of the Restaurant itself is fascinating. The two-floor interior of the historic building, supplemented with the orient exposure which perfectly works with the culinary magic, performed by our chef, and in combination with a professional service, will make your evening unforgettable.
