Friendly service, build your own burger and highly recommended pigs cheeks. Lovely Staropramen. Just what we needed after a heavy Czech meal the prior day. Amazing to say so close to tourist action.

We've followed Tripadvisor to select this place and we did not regret. Simple and fonctional design. The food is tasty, good burger and the lamb was really well coocked. I have to say that the service and barman provide a good service which is not always the case is prague (to not say rare.)

We went to Jo's with 7 people. The food was good and not too expensive, but the service was quite bad. 2 out of 7 people got their food first, then the others had to wait for about 20 minutes until we got the rest of our food. Also, they did not ask if we wanted to have more drinks... More

Discovered this place after a long days sightseeing around the corner from our hotel. Friendly welcome and attentive service throughout, warm relaxing ambiance to chill in, hopefully the food would be good as well. Grilled pork tenderloin with mushroom ragout was outstanding according to my wife. My Build a Burger was quite simply the best burger I have ever tasted,... More

If you're looking for a cosy pub, lit by candles, wooden tables, ( you get the vibe), take a trip to Jo's . I promise you'll go back again and again. This little gem offers an oasis of calm, serving great cocktails and delicious food in chilled-out surroundings. The bar staff are friendly, and we were greeted on our 2nd... More

Jo's bar is situated a few hundred meters from the Charles bridge in a cosy area filled with shops and restaurants. Jo's serve really good food and the menu is surprisingly big. The lentil soup and the brisket burger are my personal favourites but I can also recommend the chicken burger. But their fortè are most definately the drinks. They... More

Attended this venue for cocktails before dinner and returned for a night cap, very friendly and helpful staff made to feel welcome and would return for drinks again but can't comment about food.

We had a burger, and chicken burger, with farmers fries. The chicken burger was really nice, and my husband said his burger was the best he's ever had. The fries were more English chip size, but nice. We each had a generous size portion of apple strudel with cream which was lovely. Cosy place, not noisy, great service. We found... More

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
