Really nice place inside, don't be afraid about the bunch of tourist in front buying trdelnik! The full czch breakfast is brilliant and the crepes are rather good. Just a downside they don't allow card payment what is appalling on these times...

Cute little cafe/bakery in the Mala-Strana area of Prague that specializes in trdlnik. By far the best in the town; much better than the tourist places I tried. This one had much softer dough and just tasted much better! We got it with ice cream and Nutella--amazing!

Very good and reasonably priced breakfast. A lot of food. Had the Czech breakfast selection. The best part was the fresh orange juice :)

I knew about this place when looking online for the best Trdelnik in Prague. This is my second visit to Prague and I've been here for four days in which I've tried three different places and they weren't satisfactory. I wanted a place that sells fresh and fluffy Trdelniks and is not just another tourist stand/shop. Well now I can... More

After reading the reviews of this place i thought I'd try a trdelnik here. It is very overpriced and you don't get as much topping as other places in Prague. I watched the guy making fresh ones and then got given a stale cold one and I ended up throwing it away. I had one the day before in New... More

Bought two Trdelnik with cream and bananas in and watched them cooking fresh in front of my face. Was then given something from out the back that was cold and stale with barely any banana in. Way to expensive when theres so many better options for food around Prague.

Hello, thanks for your review. We are very sorry that our product disappointed you. Trdelniks which we fill up with ice cream or ( as in your case ) whipped cream, we prepare fresh but chilled. This is because filling didn´t melt. Have a nice day, Nikola More

I spent a weekend in Prague and had a trdelnik in this place as advised by trip advisor, of which many reviews said this was the place with the best trdelnik in the city. You can both make the queue outside the shop and then eat your calorie bomb whilst walking in the city or have a sit inside and... More

Quiet place, very nice service, good prices and good quality of food. Have ordered coffee, tea and trdlo. Good place to drink coffee passing the old town.

Staying in Hradcany & Letna

Neighbourhood Profile
Hradcany & Letna
Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
