Can't comment on the food because we went for the jazz. The band wasn't too bad but the singer was awful. Not sure if it was due to a voice ruined by hard living &/or cigarettes. Cost 500 czech krona (for 2) Didn't include even...More

It's not glitzy, but the food is really wonderful if you want to have a meal like the locals eat, right outside of the high tourist area, Wenceslas Square. I've eaten here every time I have visited Prague Winter and Summer alike. I recommend the...More

Had a really nice dinner with some jazz on the side. Needed a reservation though. I had my one "authentic Czech" dish - beef goulash. It was good. All the other dinners were good. One adventurous lad had pig's knees. A bit unusual, but he...More

Nice atmosphere. The jazz club is in the cellar which gives it a nice vibe. The food was bland and not something to come back for. Beers were nice, music great. Major downside is all the smoking. Smelled like an ashtray when leaving the club....More

Good cellar worth to visit even when there is no program, In twelve century cellar beer tastes good and meals are simple but hearty and filling.

We ate in the restaurant and whilst the food was pretty good, (the steak was tender and rare - exactly as ordered) the service left a lot to be desired. The barman seemed more interested in talking to his friends and took an age to...More

It's a shame that you have to combine the review of the music with the restaurant, as I would definitely give 5 stars to the music and the atmosphere. The night we visited there was a 4 piece blues band and they were exceptionally talented....More

This place is hidden in a side street after the old town square. There's a cafe style restaurant upstairs, and a jazz club in a small brick cavern in the basement. You don't seem to need to book for either, although there's limited seating downstairs...More

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents
the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
