This placed looked inviting so we dropped in for dinner. We ordered a couple of glasses of wine along with two main courses. We almost fell asleep waiting on the food to arrive, at least 30 minutes. Just as well we weren't in a hurry. The salmon dish was good but the roast potato with the duck confit left a... More

Adjacent to the Old Square which provides excellent access to all the different locations of interest. Very good facilities with large bedrooms and bright and airy reception area. Very friendly staff. Clean and inviting restaurant. Wide selection of choice at breakfast. However, the chef who is supposed to be on duty to cook eggs, omelettes and pancakes is rarely there,... This was a standard hotel breakfast with a few pastries, cereals, good variety of breads, jams and bacon/sausages etc. There was an egg station but no one there the whole time to cook anything. Coffee and tea were self service.

We had a good lunch on the outdoor patio at the back of the Old Barcelo hotel. The service is great, so friendly and welcoming. Great home made lemonade! Their burger is great.

A beautiful historic building about 10 minutes from Wenceslas Square and the downtown area. Originally a bank this building has been restored and converted into a very comfortable five star hotel. Bedroom was spacious and comfortably furnished. Very well maintained. Large bathroom with separate show cubicle. Staff are so friendly, welcoming and attentive. Dad's birthday a fortnight before we stayed... More

Set on the ground floor restaurant (bar) Few tables but could find a place to sit on comfortable couch. Chicken soup and salmon was delicious and they served quickly. Service was nice and polite. Salmon was a bit oily and it was only cooked, not baked on top to be crunchy. Cheescake was not the best due to texture. Rest... More

Good basic business Hotel. Clean and all of the facilities you would expect from a hotel of this quality including free High Speed internet. The only down side was that in my opinion the wardrobes were very small and if I had had my wife with me then we would have struggled.

We walked past this place on the way back to our hotel and thought we would check it out for dinner as the menu looked great. Upon entering there was no staff to be seen and the place seemed deserted, bar a couple having drinks. When a member of staff did appear however the service was very efficient and timely.... More

Our first visit to Prague, hotel was placed centrally near one of the main squares. Rooms were spacious and clean and very quiet, Hotel bar was well stocked and staff were very helpful and pleasant. Over all we were really pleased with our short trip away and would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
