Made a mental note to eat here after spotting the Mediterranean during my travels. Nice salad and pasta dinner with a super local red wine. Server was very kind. Can't disagree with the last several reviewers - owner was conspicuously hanging out and doing nothing - had no effect on me. Ambiance is nice. Stop by for a casually elegant... More

Our hotel did not have a bar so we popped into this one a couple of times on the way back at night. As other reviewers have said the owner is always hanging around while the one barmaid is rushed off of her feet and he does nothing to help her. It has a slightly seedy air and on the... More

Like others before here we stayed at cloister inn and as we had to make a reservation for our first choice we popped in here. For the price there is no complaints for the food, service or atmosphere but there are better places a stones throw away. As non smokers now used to smoke free public places it is a... More

I was staying across the street (at the Cloister Inn), so this was very convenient. I had dinner around 6pm-- not busy at all. The food was decent (salad and gnocci), and the wine by the glass was a fair price. In total, I paid approx $12 USD for the meal including the wine. Don't go out of your way... More

This restaurant was very good but I found that on two occassions they had not got the dinner that I ordered from the menu. For that reason I cannot give them a higher rating. What food we did have was very well cooked and presented

We stayed at the lovely Cloister Inn. The first night we decided to try this restaurant across the street. Walked in, waited at the door. The owner, who was sitting at a table next to the pizza oven, pointed at a table of 2. He was too involved with his blonde girlfriend to even get up! There were a few... More

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Prague, it was late so we thought we'd try somewhere close to the hotel. The menu is Italian, usual pizzas and pasta, nothing fancy. It was ok, portions were large. However the service was slow and I didn't get the second beer I ordered. The owner of the restaurant spent most... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
