Just don't go there. This not smiling, and not tourist friendly place, is also could charge you twice for same table, like we had... To the black list.

This is a great place to spend a long afternoon drinking coffee, reading a book or studying. Very popular with students, the walls always nicely decorated with works of interesting emerging artists, making it a visit to a cafe as well as a gallery. Friendly staff help guests to feel homely. Pleasant place.

Homely, maybe a little alternative or students' cafe with pleasant service. Wide choice of drinks and also some small and cold snack - sandwiches, salads and so on - but everything tasty. Separated space for non-smokers, two floors with different types of tables - more quiet and relaxing upstairs or in the middle of activity down near bar. Free wi-fi,... More

This is kind of bar you go to when you are already "socially tired" about a midnight. Smoked from bottom to the top, nothing special, not good.

Went there, were positively impressed by its atmosphere, charm and vivacity...but found it is for another age category - full of young people with their talks, ways, joys, problems, fashion: a typical youngsters´ place. Alas, I regret being too old and settled for it...

We liked this place, it is quirky. Good music, decor with hanging ghost, sperm araeroplanes makes a chill out place to have a night cap.

I wanted to go to this cafe because a local had recommended it. We instantly liked the look and ambiance of the place and sat down at a table. However, we left soon after, because the staff did not take notice of us at all and no waiter or barkeeper was to be seen most of the time. Quite disappointed,... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
