Dined here on our first night in Prague and was exceedingly fortunate to get a table. We waited about 20 minutes to be seated, but considering how busy they are, that was pretty good - booking in advance is advisable. We started with a couple of glasses of Prosecco on the house and a gift from the chef, which was... More

Really tasty food, great staff! Hard to find it, it's a bit off from the main streets, but when you there it's worth it. Not expensive if come from scandinavia, go there👍

You have to enter a small yard and then follow a flight of stairs to reach this small restaurant and enjoy their excellent Italian menu, introduced with passion by Santo, the owner. You'll always find fresh fish and off-menu specials of the day, we had a fantastic parmigiana di melanzane, a very good risotto, excellent calamari. the staff is professional... More

We landed in Prague on Good Friday but got delayed getting through border control. The restaurant was very kind to save our reservation until we arrived and we ended up having one of the best dining experiences in a very long time. Asparagus appetizer was outstanding the entrees (Cod and Calamari) exceeded expectations. They are a family owned Restaruant so... More

My family and I are always on the hunt for a restaurant for special occasions since our old family favourite changed ownership. I do believe Pagana might well be up for the challenge! All three courses were lovely, the ambiance was lovely, very friendly and helpful staff, good Italian wine list and reasonably priced. It came to about £50 a... More

Small restaurant with professional service and excellent Italian food. What do you need more? We had pasta, risotto and a steak - all where cooked to perfection. The only down side I can think of is that there weren't many vegetarian options. Highly recommended!

We walked in without a reservation, first and only mistake. Fortunately they had a cancellation and seated us within 5 minutes. We had a shrimp ravioli soup that was superb, followed by a linguini pesto that was excellent, followed by a sea bass for two that was the special. The waiter brought it to our table and cleaned the fish... More

Czech restaurants are very competitive in terms of excellent food at reasonable prices. This is certainly one of those restaurants. Slightly difficult to find (hidden away), the restaurant is in a spacious basement. Excellent quality food and great service.

We are italian family restaurant with authentic italian kitchen, and friendly athmosphere. You can find us in the center of Prague just two minutes from Narodní Třída. Besides traditional Italian dishes we also serve fresh fishes, seafood and daily changing specials.

Our signature dish, flammed spaghetti which is prepared in a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano in front of you is not just beatiful to watch but still prepared the same way like our grandma from Catania, Sicily showed us many years ago and we are till now using her original recipe of sugo pomodoro.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
