Dropped in for a cosy drink and to keep out of the sub-zero temperatures of Prague in January! What at first seemed like a stereotypical Irish bar you see in many cities, was actually a cosy little bar which seemed to be frequented by locals as much as by tourists, with people coming in to pick up takeaway meals too.... Great pub! Lively and great beer!!! The food in this place lets it down unfortunately, we ordered two sandwiches as we wanted something small. Firstly we both ordered and 1 sandwich didn't show up, had to ask again for it and when it did I was disappointed! The cheese toastie is very disappointing! Basically a panini with loads of onion... We only came across this pub as another one wasnt serving food, glad we found it. Excellent food & brilliant staff. Just sorry we didnt find it earlier into our trip. Very homely, warm, welcoming. Best Guinness in Prague :)

Large beers, noisy tvs and lots of old men -a classic Irish pub. The staff were friendly and the burgers were delicious. This pub is so classic it could be anywhere in the world, or in Ireland itself. Good stuff.

Is an old fashioned pub that could easily fit in any central european town. Cheap beer, friendly staff and non-smoking. A little hidden but well worth finding as it's a couple of minutes walk from the expensive spots.

Such a lovely cosy pub in Prague. A stroll off the old town square but certainly well worth a visit. The food is so so tasty. Had dinner there plus a full Irish breakfast both were the very best. Had a few beers there a couple of nights. The staff are so welcoming and chatty. Cleanliness is top class. Certainly... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
