It comes as no surprise that it was one of the first bars to serve the mojito, magazine Newsweek rated it as ,,One of the Worlds Best Bars", trained many successful bartenders, in 2008, 2009 and 2011 received a prestigious award for being ,,The Best Cocktail Bar in CZ" and not long ago celebrated 20 years in business. Thanks to this anniversary, Bugsy's bar proved once more it's qualities and uniqueness in first class cocktails, around 90 Single Malt Whiskeys, 100 rums from all over the world, a vast quantity of ultra premium vodkas and a large hobby in Champagne, over 130 titles for sale. Pro‘s atWork …. my WhiskeySour was Perfect. We discussed which Whiskey would be the best… the bartender convinced me… and he was absolutely RIGHT…. Amazing result…. I understand why this team was in Karlovy Vary to mix the drinks at the PUP Hotel for the Film Festival

Popped in on way back to hotel. Lovely cool venue, staff immaculate and attentive!
Sat at bar which was a great spot. Bar staff offered us some nibbles which was a nice touch. Worth a visit!

Very bad reception from the waitress when she saw that I spoke French. Then to top it all off the prices displayed on the card do not correspond to the final price!! Supposedly there are two different prices but no one tells you before ordering. Aberrant!!!! From 155 crowns the price increased to 255 crowns!!!! Tourist scam!!!

If you’re coming here i’d make sure you have a reservation as it’s the first thing we were asked. When we said no we were just left at ‘standing tables’ which was fine. Quick service, loud music so you couldn’t really stay to talk and enjoy your drink. Waitress was a little rude but seemed to have time for locals and people wearing ‘expensive brands’.

On our way back to the apartment we decided to drop into Bugsy's Bar. This was a Friday night @11pm so no chance of a table but there was some space at the bar so we enjoyed a very professionally prepared and served Daiquiri.

A must visit here in Prague, the best cocktails, the best atmosphere and fantastic staff.
Any cocktail requirement is always met, even if your asking for something of the menu! I always just tell the bartender what I fancy and they just create magic!
We will always return her when we come back to Prague.
