Hello I had a business dinner in Kogo with my team. We had great starters and great wine. Service par excellence as usual. We ordered fish. The kitchen decided to put some sauce on the fish. We did not like that sauce so we could not finish the fish.
Now this is when Kogo showed me they care. The owner and head cook came to the table, they explained why they put the sauce and apologied. I did not really mind in the end starters were so good so i was not tragic.
Nevertheless, they insisted to prepare new fish so we accepted.
so, i dont know how else to write this. the point of the good service is not just amazing food and flawless waiter. The point is when you see a restaurants attitude to correct mistakes and their overall concern with our experience.
Kogo really shined last night in this regard.
Thank you Mr. Owner, thank you Mr. Cook and thank you Mr. Waiter...
We will certainly come back :)

My partner and I arrived in Prague around dinner time and decided to find somewhere near our hotel, after a little googling we picked here. In arrival it looked lovley only to be greeted by a look of disgust from our waiter, who then sat us in the most cramped seats behind the pillar, although the restaurant was nearly empty. The service did not pick up from this with no smile or form of politeness, its a good thing I didn't want a second drink. The food was average with the pasta severally undercooked (I like my pasta not fully cooked), and when it came to getting the bill the waiter forced a card machine in our face asking what tip we were leaving making it very uncomfortable to not leave a tip. One good point is it is reasonably priced.

We really enjoyed this place for its great dishes. It was very close to our hotel, tucked in a smallish boutique shopping centre with few shops and movie theatre. The food is a full spectrum of mediterranean palette, cooked and served very professionally.

Me and my friends go to this restaurant very often and for the first time we have met such a bad attitude from the waiter!
As soon as we sat down at the table his face was like we forced him to work. He was impolite, didn’t serve the table how it should be and when we asked for something he missed to give us he just did the face like he hates us already. He ignored us so often and in the end when we asked for the bill he just dropped it on the table and when we asked to split the bill on his way from us he said : I don’t know what you ate-he spread his hands and left. We really wanted to call manager ,but there were so many people including popular Czech people ,so we just didn’t want to do drama. He just ruined the whole previous good experience from this restaurant and I’m so upset about it. Next time I really would think twice if I want to go to this restaurant again.

I made a reservation to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary a couple of months before. When we arrived we were taken to our table 15 mins later they brought the menu's. The chicken I chose was extremely dry and lacking in excitement on the plate like some sort of garnish. There was no sauce to break the dryness or even some lemon, just a few fried potatoes. We had to wait over 30 minutes for a waiter to come by so we could get the bill. I was really disappointed as I wanted to celebrate our anniversary in style. I will never come back here and I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to either.

Very friendly waiter that gave us good advice on what to order. Said, without hesitation, that this is the place for Italian food in Prague - he might just be right. The food was very good - and simplistic like Italian food should be.
We paid about 55 euros + tip for two dinner plates, including one beer and two glasses of white wine and a bottle of water.
Good wine as well.
Delicate localities and clean toilets. Not crowded at all either, even though we ate there on a Saturday before dinner time in December.
Would easily reccomend!

We have had two excellent dinners here during our Prague stay, one with local friends and one as a twosome. The large restaurant had Avery warm and inviting atmosphere, good noise control and beautiful table settings and service. The menu is large with many varied choices. My seafood dishes were very good and the meat dishes others looked wonderful. The service was top notch and wine list excellent. A very pleasant experience.

Absolutely rude, unprofessional and arrogant staff.
My friend and I arrived 31 July 2021 around 7 pm to have dinner.
The restaurant was full of waiters but no one met us, instead they were standing at the bar, talking and ignoring us. I came and asked if they had a table and then we had a really bizarre dialogue
- will you be drinking?
- also with food
- then no.
Even though there were free tables without reservation in the restaurant. I asked again and showed the free tables. Then the waiter yelled at me "So wait!!!"
We were shocked and offence with that behavior and how the staff was treating guests, so we just left the place.

The only way that I can describe the meal I had on May 6, 2024 was memorable.
I entered the restaurant expecting a good Italian meal, which is what I was promised by our tour advisor. What I found instead was one of the best meals I’ve ever had.
After being promptly seated by a gracious host, we chose among a delightful assortment of Italian wines. My first course consisted of a buffalo mozzarella salad. One taste of the buffalo mozzarella proved me that I never truly had Italian buffalo mozzarella before. The cheese was smooth, tender, and amazingly flavorful. The tomatoes were better than anything I could’ve possibly expected in early May. I found out from our server that all of these ingredients were sent directly from Italy. The salad was large and was easily shared by two.
I had ordered a grilled fillet with mushroom sauce, accompanied by fresh spinach. When I received was a work of art. My steak virtually melted in my mouth. I asked to have my steak cooked medium, rare, and, miracle of miracles, that’s how it was cooked. Even in the best of restaurants, I find that happens only a small fraction of the time. The meat was incredibly flavorful and required almost no chewing. The taste was unbelievable. I would put the quality of this steak up with those I have consumed at Prime in Park City, Utah and Barclay Prime in Philadelphia. I am not sure the English language contains words to give it more praise than just that.
My wife had branzino with linguine, olives and fresh tomatoes. Our friend had linguine and assorted seafood. I am not much on most seafood, but the taste I had of the pasta was actually spectacular.
For dessert, I ordered their homemade banana ice cream covered with mint and chocolate sauce, along with large strawberries. Again, the homemade nature of the ingredients made the taste of what would ordinarily be a perfectly fine but simple dessert into a truly delightful treat.
The service was superb. Dishes were brought and cleared when appropriate. When we mentioned that one of our party was celebrating a birthday, a birthday dessert was brought out for her with a dramatic sparkler so that we all could sing happy birthday. There were numerous parties in which one person was celebrating a birthday and it apparently is well known to the locals as a place to go for celebrations.

We had schrimps, Tuna Tartar and another seafood.
It was great experience and delicious meal there.
Service was perfect and atmosphere great.
It is my reccomendation for lunch or dinner if you prefer sea food and italian cuisine.

Where is the Kogo that was there in pre-covid times. All was great and we were enjoying coming back often.
But with the very poor service that we could see now was a real shock. Staff without interest, low quality service puts Kogo into B class.

Went for dinner, not the first time to be there but as my previous experience was great food and great service, I decided to make additional attempt:) .. As usual, everything is running perfectly, we were round 5 pax and we ordered sea food; salmon, sole fish, shrimps, etc …all went perfect, food is excellent, well presented and well cooked, service is outstanding.
This is a fine dinning restaurant and strongly recommended during your stay in Prague.

Booked this in advance for a Sunday night and glad we did as very busy. Great atmosphere and service and predominantly locals. Excellent food with a 3 course meal that didn't feel rushed at all. Staff were friendly and attentive and I would definitely recommend

Staff was not good. Charged us for more, which is ridicilous and then even asked for a tip for his services?? :D Food was food, just change the waiters.
