We are staying in a apartment very close to this venue. We arrived late on Saturday night and was looking for somewhere to eat at 10pm at night. We arrived and was showed to a table. The waitress was very accommodating and we ordered 4 meals which arrived very efficiently. Food was tasty. I loved the dark beer which is... More

Tried the 8 beer tasting but it was overrated. Did not try the food. Should have ordered a ordinary lager.

Nice place to drink some beer. We didn't eat there, we just went to try homemade beers that were good. The prices are a little bit higher than other places in the city. The staff is very friendly.

Probably the restaurant is great for beer, but do not order what they call "risotto" or gnocchi. With my friend, we were very disappointed, as the "risotto" was only cooked rice with some defrozen vegetables (no flavor at all) and her gnocchi were nice only because of the parmesan on top of it. For the prize they charge you can... More

This restaurant is part of an award-winning brewery. The beer choice was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food very tasty. Unless you have an exceedingly strong stomach.....avoid the beer cheese!

We had pre-booked a table for Christmas Eve dinner and were glad we did. This is only a small restaurant and they were very busy with locals and tourists, some people were turned away who walked in off the street. The two ladies were very friendly and the food as simple yet tasty, my husband particularly liked the green beans... More

On our last night in Prague, me and my boyfriend wanted to eat close to the hotel and we chose Pivovarsky dum. This was a mistake. From the minute we walked in the door we were overlooked by the waitress who was extremely rude and was obviously lacking common desency. First she did not want to give us a table... More

On main tram route and 10 mins from centre this restaurant offered prices well below city centre prices .But the price did not mean that the meals were not to to a good standard . we went there twice in our short visit to prague . The staff were attentive and pleasant both times the place was busy but they... More

I agree with other reviewers that one end of the bar looks lovely and the other pretty bland. We were seated in the bland end! They have menus available in English. We had fun with the beer sampler and they had some lovely and different beers (nettle beer is actually pretty tasty!). The food arrived extremely quickly but was very... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred metres long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theatres. National Theatre near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
