We stumbled on this place, around the corner from the John Lennon wall. Modern decor with traditional dishes cooked well. The tripe soup was delicious. No. Really. The gingerbread dumplings were a revelation. Thoroughly enjoyed our meals.

had chicken and dumpling bread with gravy…nice salad to start and ended with raspberry sorbet. The main was a bit uninspiring and I found it very bland….good service and not so great wine.

Found this place on a recommendation from the concierge at our hotel and it hit the mark on our request for Czech food that was genuine rather than fussy! I had the pate, my OH the goulash soup, both were very good and the soup...More

This restaurant is tucked out of the way but it was a real find. More modern in decor than most Czech restaurants but very stylish. I had the beef with dumplings and my fiancé had pork with vegetables. Both meals were good. I personally wouldn’t...More

We expected that this restaurant offered the roast pork-knee. We thought that pork-knee meant 'roast' pork-knee. But we got boiled one. It was too much oily. A half-skewer was better than boiled pork-knee. The ambient was so quiet.

We recently spent 2+ weeks on holiday in Prague. Our first night, we happened upon Konirna and decided to stop in for a beer and snack on their spacious outside patio. That was the beginning of our love for this place. We ate here several...More
