They serve delicious breakfast and nicely decorated since 1902. A must visit if u in Prague. Come early as it is very busy with many customers.

There is always one restaurant/cafe/bar in every city that you to visit because of its history and/or famous patrons, Cafe Louvre is no exception. The only difference here is that it doesn't charge ridiculous prices for the privilege of eating here. We came here for breakfast and it turned out to be one of my cheapest breakfast's during my stay... More

The style of the cafe is very Viennese. But the service and food is much more CZ. Friendly, enjoyable and well Worth the visit. We were there at 10:30 on Easter Sunday and waited maybe 5 minutes for a table, but after us the line was out the door. Make sure when you arrive take the door to the left.;)

This one wasn't on my list, but glad I stoped in very local so priced at a very very reasonable price. Had a meal and 500ml beer for less than 8€ staff are really helpful and friendly. I'll give them 4 1/2 big toes outa 5 for staff and as an overall 4 1/2 toes.

I dined here with my friends for brunch while visiting Prague recently. It ticked all the boxes for us, smoking/non smoking section. A massive menu at a reasonable price and the staff were attentive and efficient.

If you want quick and attentive service, eat in the restaurant. If you want culture and vibe, eat in the cafe...they both serve the same menu. I ate in the restaurant and had excellent service. I ordered the traditional Czech meal of Roast Beef on Cream with Bread Dumplings...YUM!!! I am in Prague for 4 weeks and definitely plan on... More

The staff of this place, oh my god! Terrible and so rude! I can´t really belive a place like this can still be open with such a terrible staff as this. Everytime the staff was at our table they almost threw the pastry and the coffee on the table. Just a BIG NO!

We enjoyed the good energy of the place that has been opened since 1902. My kids enjoyed the fact that Albert Einstein frequented this place. Food was good but kids menu were just OK.

Great experience! Surprised I wasn't underdressed for such a fancy-looking place. It has an english menu thank god and don't worry you don't pay for the bread! Very busy but we got our food quick. The chicken in the Caesar salad is the best chicken I've ever had! (But has bit too much Caesar sauce). My two friends also thought... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
