We always loved this restaurant and we were never disappointed : always excellent food, nice wines and mainly perfect service with personal attitude, comparable with the best Prague restaurants. I have to say that last time we had a feeling that something is not right, we selected (like several times before) degustation menu Grand with wine pairing, always very good value for money. Food was very good as always, but service was not like before : wine served with each meal was maybe less then 0.05 dcl so we had to tell to our waiter that we will pay one more wine pairing to have enough wine with each meal, it never happened before. ( I have to say that finally they did not charge us any extra wine). Water was served in a style I did not ever seen before in any restaurant : 0.75 liter bottle was poured at one time to our glasses , very probably to avoid to come again to serve water ?, in one glass .375 l water up to top, really ? Maybe staff changed, maybe they did not have good day but our feeling was that the service level went down, still ok, but not perfect like always before.

Excellent upscale dinner venue in Brno. Went for dinner with colleagues and was not disappointed. Very cool ambiance - walls of a church from 1260 are displayed behind glass in the main dining room. There are also separate dining room options for individual groups of ~12, which is quite nice to facilitate business conversation

It's not easy to find seafood in Czechia - just two or 3 types of river fish or deep frozen one. Fish is out of national cuisine of Chech republic at all. But this restaurant became for me as sunlight during the night. Fresh shrimps, fish and calamares... Sushi & sahsimi Just lovely place. For sure next visit Brno I will come again with my friends.

Intrigued by good reviews, we wanted to make a reservation for a dinner. Unhappily, the place was full and we could only get our table at 9PM. As a result, we could not order larger tasting menu as the kitchen was closing 10PM. No worries, we went a la carte and chose two signature dishes: fillet and lamb. As a starter we shared one beef tartar. The fillet was flawless, the lamb bit too much seasoned and fatty. Portion of tartar was too small (like even for a tasting menu). Finally, we ordered two pina coladas. Never seen a strawbery sirup in the pina colada before. And honestly, completely missing taste of pineapple and coconut. But was a good milkshake. One of the better things in the evening was couvert and definitely the service. We left a tip of 7.5% of the bill and our waiter looked a bit dissapointed. We were slightly as well. PS: there is a free on site parking which we liked very much.

The restaurant is in the building in a backyard streed, very clean, modern. The experience we went for was a medium size degustation menu. It was a pleasant surprise, but unfortunally we were both leaving fairly hungry. I visig gastronomic restaurant on regular basis, so used the small portions size, but was... lets say too small. Othervise very good.

Having read all the wonderful reviews I had high expectations and I was disappointed
The fois gras and the tartare were very nice, the wagyu starter tasteless. The mains were a disappointment. The Salmon without taste, the chicken awful, the Ravioli you can eat better in a neighborhood osteria in Italy, the venison indifferent. Maybe a bad night...

Recently dined at this restaurant after reading the reviews and was certainly not disappointed. The food and its presentation ,level of service and the whole ambiance of the restaurant was exceptional. If you visit Brno be sure to make a reservation you wont regret it.

Enter the restaurant and decide whether you wish to sit outside or inside. Ideally combine both. Why? – Wheather permitting you will like the summer terrace observing one of the most popular dominants of Brno – the cathedral of St Peter and Paul. While inside you could study the excavations of the medieval rotonda. To please all our senses my friend and me have chosen Italian wine and paired it successfully with dishes: cold starter - marinated beef, with picant mayo, main dishes – pork (mangalica) combined with celery and apricots. My friend was happy with the monkfish with mango, papaya and beans. We were lucky to meet the owner of this restaurant and discussed tthe importance of training one´s senses in the best quality restaurants. The ability to compare has to be rafineted. Visiting the Borgo Agnese restaurant can broaden your horizons.

We enjoyed really lovely evening on Saturday night. We choose Grand tasting menu for my husband and vegetarian version for me. The food was very good, especially the rice noodles as starter were nice surprise.
We rate 4/5 because of comparison to Vittorio restaurant above the street, which is little bit better place.

I didn’t come to Brno for a gastronomic experience, but I made an impulsive visit here and I got one. The GRAND tasting menu with wine pairings was outstanding, and good value. The service was attentive and friendly. The ambience is excellent. If this was on my doorstep, I’d be there every week!

A little pricier but very tasty Italian. The wild boar filled pasta was a dream. Good open red wine. A bit cold inside but it is winter and energy crisis so ok. Will be back soon wir my team and am looking forward to it

Excellent food, service and ambiance. A big surprise for the small entrance. Has several floors up and a beautiful view of the gothic cathedral, from an outside 2nd floor terrace.

Place to visit- something which is not Brno. Although I live large part of my life in Brno, one have to admit that it’s a village… after living in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur or Abu Dhabi.
Therefore this is one of the places which is putting Brno on the map
