We had a table for 6 out on the grass area that they use during summer months. Initially we only ordered some snacks to have with beer before going elsewhere for dinner, but the English speaking waitress was so accommodating and the dishes going to other tables looked so good that we stayed and had a great meal. English menus... More

Great food and friendly atmosphere. Most popular during the summer with their large outdoor patio. Favorite of locals. Good for kids during the summer to play next to the patio. Just 2 blocks off Olomouc main square.

We have been here before and remember the beer as being very good- however on this occasion it seemed very fizzy. We did not eat here but noted that the prices seemed quite high compared with others.

We were a group of 16. And we didn't have a reservation, but the restaurant could fit us perfectly in separated tables. The waiters however just said "sorry. We are full." But we saw all tables empty and decided to sit in different tables. She got visibly angry and took more than 20 minutes to come the first drinks. The... More

The beef goulash is very good, the meat is tender, and it's garnished with a piece of smoked sausage, thinly sliced raw onions, and marinated peppers. It comes with potato pancakes that are dense and too garlicky. The Olomouc cheese tartare is an interesting idea, though not for the faint of heart: it's made with the pungent Olomouc cheese, red... I am living in Olomouc for the next few months. This place is a hidden gem for beer lovers, in the sense that they have about 4 different types, and all are delicious. The menu is in English, and I have had two very good dinners, the marinated pork and the chicken on skewers. Prices are very reasonable, and the... More

Really liked the little school book type menu. All the food is Moravian. Great! Solid, tasty food, well prepared. The beer was very good too. It's a cellar restaurant and it just had a good feel to it. Smoke free again as is becoming the norm. The waitress was attentive, helpful and all smiles. Great staff 🍻👍

Stopped in here for a couple of beers and apple strudel after having dinner elsewhere. As on previous occasions when entering, the waitresses did not seem very friendly but when they realised that we were foreign their mood changed and treated us very well. I have never had a proper meal here but the dishes being served near our table... More
