I really enjoyed the food at the restaurant and also get loads to eat for the price. I would really recommend the cheese starter and then the meat dish with loads of different meat on it as they are all nice. plus you get a real polish feel when you are there and also get a good view of the... This restaurant meets all criteria for a good night out with friends or family. Certainly exceeded my excpectations. Enormous portions with delicious food. I had the lamb sausage which was absolutely delicious, and my husband had the officer platter which had a variety of well cooked meat with rice on the bottom and some sort of cabbage mix. Service was... More

We had booked our table for 2100 but were not seated until around 2115, not a problem except we were forced to put our coats into the cloakroom at a charge. The restaurant wasn't full but there weren't enough servers. We waiting around 20 minutes to order drinks and then the order was wrong. We ordered our food - dishes... More

Waiters will ignore you, then you'll have to raise your voice for everything. They will forget things and then you'll have to do it again

Traditional polish food, huge portions, excellent beer. Crowded at a dinner time, arrange your table in advance by phone or you'll wait about 30 min or even more in a queue to get a table. We enjoyed the food and an atmosphere of the place, will recommend it.

Fantastic value for money. Great service and lovely food. The Gouda ham is like a kids meal though. But the officers plate was a huge selection of meats. The pork knuckle was fantastic slow cooked pork in a spicy tomato sauce. The pirogue were lovely and the soups (we tried 3 were all tasty) Hearty fare, generous portions, very popular... More

We were warned when we arrived that the portions were large and they were certainly right. We went for a snack lunch (and to warm up!) and ordered two starters for the four of us. We had mixed pierogi and that was all we needed. Fantastic! and washed down with warming mulled wine it made for a perfect lunch stop.

This is a very popular venue. We had to wait in a queue for 30 minutes to get a table. The waiting staff are dressed in traditional Polish garb and are very polite and efficient. The menu choice is not for the faint hearted. Make sure you have a ravenous appetite as the portions are huge. Try the Polish Officers... More
