I came here with a friend during the summer having never been to Poland before and this restaurant is one of the many reasons I wanted to go back (so did in December). My girlfriend and I arrived on a Wednesday evening without booking (I advise you book). Unfortunately there was a Christmas meal going on that took up most of the restaurant. The waiter noticed I looked a little disheartened and took my number and said he’d call me with in half hour if he could fit me in. 20 minutes later my phone rang saying that he had managed to set up a new table. The service was impeccable. Always there when needed but never loitering and most importantly the food is incredible! Thanks all

We had a really lovely meal here, early on Monday evening. We had a 3am start, so needed somewhere that could accommodate an early sitting, and they were very helpful. Service was very friendly by Katjia, and although they didn't have any of the wines we tried to order (currently changing over to a new list), she recommended a great Polish Pinot Noir that we thoroughly enjoyed. We started off with complimentary Goose dripping and fresh sourdough, followed by a tasty, pulled hot goose with red onion marmalade starter that we shared. Next we shared 2 mains, 1 of pumpkin potato pancakes with bacon, onion, and cottage cream sauce, and 1 of the famous pork knuckle with sauerkraut and potatoes. Thank God we decided to share, the knuckle was absolutely huge! We thought there was no way we'd fit in a dessert, but seeing as it was our last night, we thought it'd be remiss to not share the local cream cheese pancakes with blueberry sauce. All in all, a very tasty, filling and reasonably priced meal. Would recommend.

When I visited Cracow in August 2020 I thought of dining in a delicious restaurant. I found “Goose” Polish Cousine restaurant and decided to dine just there. I ate Pulled Goose for the main course and found it delicious. Waiters are very helpful and “invisible” recommending tasty Polish red wine. I wholeheartedly recommend “Goose” restaurant to all. Warm regards to Mrs Aleksandra Rakoczy (the manager). Pawel

I went there with friends for late dinner, very cozy place with good food. Pierogi ruskie (my favourite ;) ) were delicious as well as tomato soup and placki ziemniaczane. Big thank you to the chefs for making special side for us - baked goat cheese which is not on the menu but it was very tasty and looking AMAZING! Our waitress, Marta, was a good host trying to advise us with vegetarian choices. Definitely I will back again with next visit in Krakow.

Another gem of a restaurant located close to the ghetto offering authentic polish dishes at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is very chic and is very clean with very welcoming staff. The food was brilliant and tasted great. The restaurant specializes in goose dishes and also has other meats on offer. I'd recommend the goose leg or if you're into Fish the baked trout. The beetroot soups were awesome with goose dumplings. Would recommend a visit to the place if you're in the vicinity.

Our daughter found this restaurant on Trip Advisor and as it was near to our hotel recommended that we give it a try. What a find. The food is to die for. , beware portions very large. The local red wine was a good choice. We asked if they could accommodate us the next day and were lucky enough to reserve a table. Justine our waitress, a very attentive and charming young lady, gave us helpful guidance with the Polish cuisine. Both visits to this excellent restaurant were delightful. Popped in here on our first night in Kraków. The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant itself was very nice. The wait on food was quite long but the quality of the food made up for it, it would’ve been nice for the waiters to check in with us and offer us more drinks or see how our food was?!

We visited the restaurant on our first night in Krakow, it was a few minutes walk from the Plaza Boutique Hotel and we found this very hard to beat during our stay in Krakow. Certainly the food was excellent and probably the best value we had for quality food and service. I would certainly recommend the restaurant and would say if your not staying nearby then go for a stroll or get a taxi it's well worth the effort.

So glad we found this place on TA, a short 15 mins walk from Kazimeirez. Serves local cuisine with an emphasis on goose (they do lots of other stuff too) the service was exceptional in a lovely environment, first time we had the sharing platter of cheese/meats/sauces which was absolutely amazing, followed up with goose pierogi and cheese abd onion pierogi, the lightest tastiest pierogi we've ever eaten, half litre of house wine and a large beer bill still only came to around £30, which is outstanding value for the quality and quantity of food you get. Second visit I had the goose leg served with dill potatoes and caramelised beetroot and the wife had the burger, once again both were outstanding, would highly recommend visiting, if you walk you can also visit heroes square abd the last remnants of the ghetto wall on the way

I`ve chosen this restaurant for our family based on TripAdvisor's reviews as a discovery local cuisine experience for our first trip to Krakow but was not really satisfied with the food especially that the prices here are not lowest. We wanted to taste more options so practically we ordered starters and several main courses to share. Best of what we had was at the end the starters selection and the meat filled pierogi. From starters our favorite was the goose pate but rest was all well done too. Now to the main courses I took pulled goose meat and it was really too dry and no taste also even if huge the plate didn't worked out as a dish. The buckwheat had no taste - should have been roasted and the green beans watery, no spice, nothing. This was one of the most expensive item on their menu and unfortunately a big disappointment. The duck breast also was a no, very gummy difficult to chew. Service was very nice, level of English very good. In terms of atmosphere well is a duck and goose theme so expect mainly that and a lot of rustic style like items but that should not influence in any way your choice. One negative, the place seemed very clean at first glance no problem at level of plates, glasses or table itself but I didn't liked that the seating pillows were stained and also after we sat at our table I realized we had some food on the floor from previous customers probably. Counting the level of prices I would recommend a bit more attention to this kind of details. Location wise this restaurant is rather recommended for those close to the Jewish quarter if you stay in the old town area count with a longer walk - 30 min plus but worth as the area there has a very nice atmosphere. So overall for the level of price and specific of the restaurant I would expect a much better quality and taste when it come to goose and duck meat but I would return for starters and pierogi.

Was looking for a place for traditional Polish food, outside the main center (mostly less expensive) and came across this place. Ordered the pulled goose with cherries stewed in red wine, roasted buckwheat and spicy green beans, which was delicious. Was a good portion (650gr according to the menu), with a nice balance between the components. Price was reasonable. Will certainly be back there again to try the other options.

They messaged back saying only table available was 20:30 which was ok for us Food was ok but before we had even finished the mains waitress come over and asked if we wanted anything from the desert menu as the kitchen was closing . We politely declined 2 minutes later she came back and said please now pay as they want to cash up and close . It was 21:35 Would not recommend the service here at all Much better and friendly places in this wonderful city

It feels that I’m writing about a different restaurant. The reviews on TA are very complimentary but my experience was quite different. Firstly, the place lacks any kind of atmosphere. The waiting staff are not trained, we have been waiting to order drinks for 20 minutes which took another 10 minutes to arrive. The food was served with cutlery and as it was already barely warm it got even colder while eating for fork and knife. The food was reasonably good but there was too much of it and it lacked any kind of presentation….the management picture do not adequately represent what is being seevered in tue restaurant. So overall, I’m surprised this restaurant show in top 10 Polish restaurants in Kralow. I have been to better places.

This restaurant is really really nice, close to the Schindler’s Museum and with a short walk distance from the City centre. The goose is part of most of the main dishes and it’s really great, cooked perfectly! There are also other traditional Polish dishes, as the amazing dumplings and the potato pancakes. They offer as appetizer croutons and “goose mousse” and the staff was really kind and professional! These dishes are all fantastic and we went there to have dinner two days in a row! Highly recommended to everyone!

I went in for a simple lunch, and my expectations were completely exceeded. Decor is pretty idiosyncratic, but sweet. They specialise in goose (although serve many other local specialities), and I had the pate and the pulled goose with bulgar. I didn't stop eating till I hit plate. This food was wonderful, not at all stodgy but really flavoursome. Service was also excellent- warm, attentive but not imposing. If you're in the area, stop here, you won't regret it.
