Very cosy and typical Polish restaurant. Wonderful decor in a highland style, very kind staff. Food is really typical and delicious, you can find not only different types of meat but also famous Polish "pierogi" and "zur" (a Polish soup with sausage and egg within a loaf of bread). Reasonable price. Will definitely come back!

Went to a few restaurants in our time in Krakow and this one was our favourite! Tasty polish cuisine, large portions and excellent value for money. Recommend the sausage for starter and the beef goulash on potatoes pancakes ! Way too full for desert ha. Great ambience and service also.

Great little restaurant. I loved the decor! Clean, tidy, pleasant, comfy with a welcome - stay a while feel. We asked what we should order, and Witek our server made his recommendations! Good calls on all of them. We were not disappointed. My husband was impressed that his soup bowl lid also made for a little hat! Witek made me... More

We tried this place on a whim, no reservation beforehand. Laid out on several floors, good selection of Polish foods. We weren't overly hungry and ordered the goulash soup which was a starter but was as filling as any main course. Lots of tourists eat here so the staff can converse well in English. We loved it!

Staff were prompt and attentive. I had the mushroom soup in bread which was excellent. For main course I had the goulash on potatoe pancake which was very dissapointing. The potatoe was burned at the edges and soggy in the middle. The meat was sparse and had grizzle on it. Would not recommend. After reading previous reviews I choose this... More

It was clear that a lot of effort had been put into achieving an authentic mountain lodge atmosphere. It was the perfect place to cozy up on a cold evening. The menu boasted a good selection of regional delicacies. We tried the mixed grill for two (or more). This included a selection of meats and other delicacies (weighing 900g), The... More

Good ambience and food. Poor wine selection and horrible inattentive service. Many other customers complained the same night we dined in as also waited long time to be served.

We were recommended to visit this excellent Polish restaurant and it was good that we booked ahead. The menu we were told is typical Polish mountain food - wholesome and tasty. The Hunters stew was delicious. Service was friendly and we enjoyed the 'mountain resort' ambiance with live folk music. Recommended.
