One of my go pubs to visit on any holiday I take to Krakow is Dobry Kumpel Pub,in my opinion one of the best cellar pubs in the city. The pub looks superb, descending down into the darkness your eyes adjust and what delights await...,exposed stonework, a very cool looking serving bar, wonderful decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options, it's just a great pub to unwind in We were here on a cold and rainy February night, pub was warm and inviting as it always is ,we ordered a pint of beer from Grimbergen Brewery, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. A big fan of this famous ale from Belgium, golden, hoppy but not overhopped, bursting with taste, when this ale is served in tip top condition as in this pub its such a delicious beer style indeed,it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and sat with my twin brother, best beer companion in the world. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Dobry Kumpel Pub is easy to locate along Ulica Florianska, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 1pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town of Krakow.More
The one thing you'll notice about Kraków is how many cellar pubs there are and Dobry Kumpel on Floriańska is without doubt one of the liveliest and one of the best. This pub offers a superb drinks range and hosts live music and is a brilliant...pub to visit as is this superb street in the old town. This brilliant pub has an excellent look with an exposed brick-walled interior with many interesting fixtures and features relating to music and superb decor and furnishing's.It has superb seating options throughout the whole cellar pubs interior and on our visit it was packed in here. This superb pub has a brilliant beer range on tap and not just Polish beer's as there's Belgium beers as well.Me and my twin look out for different beers and when we visited here they had Grimbergen'a fantastic beer from Belgium. When we visited here we had a few glasses of this beer which were really refreshing and where well priced. We had a few different beers on our two visits to here one being Okocim which was fantastic and really well priced. This is a superb pub and a popular pub on a superb street that's well worth a visit as is this brilliant area.(This is my second review review of Dobry Kumpel). Opening Hours. Monday-Thursday-13.00-01.00. Friday-Saturday-13.00-02.00. Sunday-13.00-01.00. Hours May Differ From Above.More
Lovely place for stop off drink . Great bar staff. Good choice of beers wines and cocktails . Recommend for a night or just nip in
Having been in once during a previous visit to Krakow and finding it absolutely packed we tried again in the afternoon of NYE. We were the first people in at opening time so bagged a great table right by the bar and ended up spending...the entire afternoon there as the music, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Olivia & Paul were fabulous behind the bar and if we hadn’t needed to go and freshen/sober up for our NYE meal we would have stayed longer! We did buy tickets to get back on later and of course it was super busy after the fireworks as expected so we didn’t stay too long but did return again on New Years Day for a few hours. Would definitely recommend a few drinks here, and say get in early if you want a seat. There’s a reason it’s so popular!More
What a find - Would definitely put this on your list to visit . Situated just off the main square- the sign from the road just says pub . Down a small corridor and then down stairs . Lovely open brickwork and mood lighting. They...don’t do food though but it’s lovely for a drink or 2More
Really good pub Nice and friendly Serves many drinks The pub has character and they have music at the weekends Sadly didn’t get to experience that but I saw some pictures and it looked good
Great atmosphere and amazing cocktails! The smoked whiskey cherry one was my absolute favourite. Visiting from London the prices were very good. Place was packed Friday and Saturday early evening but hang around and table will surely come up, we got lucky both days. Staff...were cool and services was efficient and friendly, think this place is like 500-600 years old, sure I read that somewhere with blurry eyes! Great basement bar.More
As a pub with 170 years of history I’d say it is a must visit in Krakow. They do a fine selection of cocktails and beers. It is pretty dark in places but that adds to the atmosphere. Go on have a look.
If you visit Poland, Come to Krakow, and find this pub, you'll not regret it. We arrived on Monday night, determined to experience lots of different pubs, but we came back here every night. The music is great, the drinks range from local beers to...international spirits and the staff are friendly, very helpful is suggesting a replacement drink once you've drunk them out of your favourite (but it's always back on the shelf the next day) add a sprinkling of live music and you find you've got no reason to look for anywhere else to go. It's open from noon and goes through till 1am, so you can pop in for one in the afternoon or have a few, leave for food, but I know you'll be back soon after. If you come back to the old town of Krakow again we know where we'll be headingMore
We went here for drinks while in Krakow. It’s a very cool little place with tasty drinks at a good price. Definitely worth a visit!
Dropped in for a beer. Good atmosphere, good music and reasonable priced drinks. At the time we were there 6pmish on a week night, the demographic was middle aged people.
A guide gem of a pub in krakow, well worth a visit and beer is very reasonable compared with uk. Great tunes too. They also have a bottle of Harris gin available!!
Great cellar bar with a terrific atmosphere. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Don't be put off from the exterior. You need to access through a short alley passage, but certainly worthwhile. Great bar selection and music to suit all tastes.
Fantastic little bar. Great friendly atmosphere with live music. When we visited there was a duo playing guitars and singing a varied selection of covers. Prices reasonable.
