I rarely leave a negative review as i worked in hospitality for many years and know what hard work it is - however i feel that it is important to be honest. My husband and i visted this place last night for dinner. The lady...More

Absolutely beautiful restaurant offers tasty food and quality drinks. The furniture, paintings on the walls even waitresses' dresses put you in atmosphere of 18th century. By the price is very reasonable for Krakow. Took one star off cause we waited too long for main dishes...More

Service is very slow and seems confused. Ordered a mint tea, recieved black tea. They were out of almost all vegeterian food, for example pancakes, sorry but it doesn't take much to make a pancake. Portions are on the smaller side as well. You can...More

We didn't know what we were letting ourselves in for as a cloakroom attendant took our coats at the door. In the restaurant the décor is 'something else' - reputedly unchanged since the turn of the 19th Century with stained glass and high backed seats....More

I can best describe the decor as idiosyncratic. It is very old appearing and traditional. The food is traditional Polish and very good. There were no complaints from our food. Extra bonus for smokers, indoor smoking is allowed in the separate bar area, great for...More

Traditional Polish costumes and dancing- singing was great too. Two live musicians. Food was good and the history and atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. Service wasn't so hot- can't have everything.

The place is a bit old style, like a victorian manor or something like this...which to me, was nice but not for the rest of my friends, who had a feeling of tetric place. I ws not very hungry and not very well with my...More
