Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A brewpub I always enjoy visiting on any holiday I take to Wrocław is Spiz ,been here before on previous holidays to Wrocław, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this brewpub, its a...cellar style brewpub, interior is superb, exposed brickwork, big brewing vats prominently on display, wonderful decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this brewpub throughout this cavernous brewpub, its just a wonderful brewpub to unwind in. We were here on a Wednesday early afternoon ,we ordered their own brewed beers ,we both opted to have Spiz Brewery " jasny light lager " and these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we chilled out and planned out the day ahead while sipping our beers. The beer brewed in here was spot on,a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste, very easy to drink, when this beer is served freezing cold as in this brewpub its such a delicious beer indeed, ts hardly surprising that this brewpub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to Spiz we had a great time. Spiz is easy to locate on Rynek, a square and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, midday till midnight. A wonderful brewpub in a fantastic location, well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town of Wrocław.More

This is an excellent place to visit and has a superb interior with many interesting item's throughout the whole interior and plenty of interesting fixtures and features and lots of good seating area's and is one of the most authentic micro-breweries and restaurants you will visit in Wrocław. Traditional below ground bar with wood panelling all around and situated bang in the centre of the market square. Cosy and atmospheric with an excellent choice in beer. Actually, it has own brewery with the mash tuns form an integral part of the Spiz look....RecommendMore

A cool, dark, atmospheric pub for meeting up with friends. I had a beer (beer - top), toast and fried potatoes, everything was so hearty and delicious. It was interesting to sit and watch the local Poles as they spend their free evening in a...fun campaign.More

Great choice of beers on an unpretentious seating area outside. Perfect for a warm summer evening. They don't do table service, you just go to the bar and order what's available. Service is quick and efficient but could have some more empathy and charm.

I like this place - it’s on the main square and downstairs. It’s adjoined with a restaurant so when you get to the bottom of the stairs make a hard right and you’ll enter what looks like a beer hall. Ale a bit steeper than...what you can get it for elsewhere but not too bad. We got stuck into the dark ale but as my travelling buddy said it’s like rocket fuel. I’m a dark ale fan and whilst what I had wasn’t the top ale I supped in Wroclaw is was a solid pint and was quite distinct. No question it’s worth a look and a great boozy atmosphere when it’s packed.More

We ordered 6 beers in one of them was a plastic foil on the bottom of the glass, after recognizing that such garbage was in our drinks we went to the bar and complained about it. The bartender discussed over 10min with me how such...thing is possible and didn’t even apologize. Terrible costumer service. Having literally garbage in my beer is not what I ordered and not even apologizing for such terrible accident is just very very poor. I would not recommend it further the staff is extremely rude.More

Wasn’t quite sure how to take Spiz, I think their branding is a little confused. From the store front I’m thinking traditional country Polish fare, where adults would come for a rustic meal and quality craft beer; however, once downstairs I noticed the beer handles...were neon and they were playing Polish pop music videos. The neon and pop music clashed with the classic decor and surroundings. I got the bread soup bowl which was delicious and the beer was very good as well. I did need to use my iPhone flashlight to see the menu, very dark in the restaurant. Also, there was no one at the entrance to welcome customers or seat them. The one employee we did meet was very friendly and courteous, but busy with very little time for checking on customers. I would definitely give them a chance and I understand it’s been tough for restaurants the last couple of years and I could see where they’re trying to pull in adults and college kids at the same time. They make it too “adult” it could drive away an income stream. I almost wonder if they could make a cleaner transition between the two? Turn off the neon and pop tv during times more traditional customers are to come in and then turn the neon and pop music for the kids. Maybe just show a little flexibility.More

Bias? We tried to reserve a table and was informed to go to the restaurant side to do this. We were greeted by two, personnel who seemed very offish upon our request for a table for two. They were adamant without looking at the diary,...although a fleeting glance that they were full. We walked in on the off chance at 1900hrs and restaurant was empty, this was the time we had requested. On the bar area we managed to get seated for a meal and noted throughout the night the restaurant was very quiet. Biased or alot of people cancelling I wonder??? On a positive note, beer and food were excellent and the staff were great, perhaps it's just the picky restaurant staff who decide who is good enough to dine with them.More

The restaurant located in the basement. Oldschool decor, a little bit „different” than others but food was fantastic. Good, quick service, clean place.
