I am not an expert of polish cousine, but I found the food in this place quite good, especially the pierogi. They have an English menu and they speak some English. Price in the range of similar places.

For our last night in Warsaw, we were up to try something different -- well, some of us were up for it, while others wanted traditional Polish food. Both factions were satisfied. The traditional Polish was expertly prepared and tasty as we had come to expect of all fine restaurants in Warsaw. For a different experience, after an appetizer of... More

More a 3.5. Came here for 1st dinner in Warsaw. Had borsh, tongue. Partner had broth and beef wrap. The waiter was excellent, explaining the different beers for us ale drinkers. Our starters were great. The mains were more us trying local fayre than expecting brillance. Got too much and my tongue was not to my liking but that may... More

The food was nice-particularly the crispy potato pie with goulash that my husband had. I was a bit jealous!! Wanting to try something typically Polish I opted for the dumplings of which I was allowed an assortment of fillings. The waiter recommended boiled and they were very nice, if a bit visually unappealing! Salad was complimentary though and I liked... More

This was my only restaurant visit during my entire Polish visit (I generally lived off Milk Bars), and it was worth every cent. Plenty of traditional Polish food available which was awesome because I don't eat anything I can buy easily at home when I travel. My waitress was friendly and attentive but not nosy, service was fast, the portions... More

One of the food highlights of our trip to Warsaw. We shared a delicious chicken and walnut salad, followed by fried trout (pstrag) and topped off with a delicious omelette with apple puree and chocolate. On a cold rainy day in Warsaw this was the perfect pick-me-up. I would really recommend this restaurant for good food, good value and really... More

Standard Polish offerings on menu at attractive prices. Interesting fish entrees to augment standard pierogi and pork dishes, all well prepared and served by bright, young staff. Street side location near Palace of Culture provided opportunities to watch local people in a neighborhood setting.

A place we have tried traditional polish dishes - and we were very happy about it. I see from the card one can start a day with breakfast here - and looking at dinner it can be a really good starter for a day ;) My tip: sour soup and veal tongues, very traditional polish dishes are good here; about... It is almost two years since I last went to this restaurant and was looking forward to my return visit. The restaurant did not disappoint. The food was excellent (I had 'Dizzy Fish') with decent sized portions. If you order a main course, this comes with use of the self service salad bar. Again, the salad bar which specialises in... The restaurant serves overwhelmingly good food, the salad bar is a nice touch. We ordered the herring and a variety of meats. Everything was cooked beautifully and the meat simply slipped off the bone wonderfully. The Cheese omelette for desert is amazing, fresh white cheese with marvelous pancake-style omelette. We have been there twice and will definitely go there again.... More
