Well hidden yet accessible place in Mokotów area. Not too many tables, nic interior, staff that not only smiles but also knows pretty much everything about their food. So the start is cool. Been there many times and we come back once every couple of weeks - excellent pasta, not worse pizza, tasty salads and some good starters. Carbonara and... More

Let me start that I am italian, and we are really picky when it is about our food and drinks. It's no secret that a lot of restaurants use any kind of italian reference as to attract their clients, as to make them think their meal is going to be a proper italian one. This restaurant is one of these.... More

I am a regular visitor in this place. There is always a nice atmosphere and great Italian food! Pastas with truffles are to be highly recommended. There is fine selection of wines too. I recommend this place.

Nice waitresses and good pasta: well cooked and tasty sauce, although with a bit too much garlic. The atmosphere of the restaurant is fresh and dynamic

We are quite often in Pasta i Basta with our kids for weekend lunches. It is a family friendly restaurant, with very affordable prices. I would reco the whole menu, pizza is one of the best I had, an apple kompot in unbeatable, wine list offers enough what to select with very fair pricing too. They add new things into... More

Good for especially for lunch - in addition to pastas, salads and meat or fish dishes you can have great fish soup but only in the second half of the week

Amazing place to have "safe" italian meals outside Italy! I recommend all vegetarian dishes from their menu.

Lately, I visited this spot twice, in both cases to have a lunch. The restaurant is located off the main road, not close to big hubs of office buildings, thus it is not overcrowded by "man in the suit" folks. However, it seems visited, at least during the lunch time. The atmosphere is cosy, welcoming, not pretentious in any way.... More

Triple pasta is very tasty. Try Italian wine. For desert I can recommend .chocolate brownie. Very suitable for families with small children.

Sometimes I go to visit this place, they serve pretty good pastas however it is quite expensive as for my budget. Interior looks nice especially the bare brick walls. In the summer there is a few tables outside however it's nearly on the street so not that cozy as sitting inside. Heard some stories about some famous tv people visiting... More

Description
Pasta i Basta highlight the culinary versatility of pasta. With its warm and rustic interior of bare brick walls and simple black-and-white fittings, this street-level food emporium, situated in the leafy residential district of Mokotow provides a relaxing oasis in which families, friends, and busy business people can fuel up on popular pasta dishes. The smorgasbord of noodles, prepared by chef Joanna Rybicka, includes tagliatelle, penne and ravioli, and other variations of silky pastas served with an array of sauces. There's also a large selection of desserts and wines which are affordable, but the daily business lunch specials are the real bargains here. Open hours are 12 - 9:30 pm.
