I would say this is okay if you are not in a rush. This is a crowded, busy place. Service can and will get slow. Food is OK and big portions. Good, kind of Czech atmosphere.

I recomand to try other restaurants in Warsaw. This is a mixture of austrian-polish food with pierogi, schnitzel, ribs, pork knuckle, sauerkraut etc...even the wines are austrian...very noisy place! Food has a medium taste, but big portion. Not very polite personnel.

Very popular place, and you really need a luck to get a table in nice part of the re4staurant. Portions of food are huge, and you cannot expect spothisticated meals - a lot of meat and sauerkraut. Beer is served in mugs of 0.4 an 1.0 litres, Generally friendly place which you will enjoy if you are not in a... More

A busy spot that was suggested to us as a folklore experience. Many people but we were quickly seated opposite the toilets. The place was smelly and noisy and we discovered that different parts of the same place offer different experiences: in some corners there is music, some other parts are decorated into a restaurant and some are fast-food "oriented".... Having enjoyed this brand in Krakow we looked forward to trying the food and drink here. Really disappointing, the food was poor, the drink was not what we ordered, the atmosphere was non existent, particularly as the customers were dotted around different parts of the building. OK we were in at lunchtime, normally we went in the evening in Krakow.... More

This place is clearly very popular, locally and with tourists. We visited on the recommendation of our hotel on a Saturday night, and were lucky to get a table as we were just two people. Larger groups were queuing along the entrance, although the queue did seem to be moving relatively quickly. The restaurant has a German 'brauhaus' or beerhall... More

I am mindful of my student beer-hall days here. The schnitzels are the size of an outsized dinner plate and it is all very inexpensive. Lots going on around you so one doesn't get bored. Very friendly staff despite the busy place that it is sometimes. Great for the budget tourist.

Very nice, friendly and tasty restaurant of traditional polish cuisine. It is nice to visit it after romantic walk throught the Old City. Food is very good, portions are very big) At the end the waiter give you an alcocholic compliment. ;)

I visited here in October of this year as part of a business trip I was on. Having wandered the local streets of old town and market square I came across this place nearby. Easily spotted by the old truck parked outside (I like classic cars so it drew me right in), we were taken into a reception area and... More

This restaurant is a wonderful place. The atmosphere is very cheerful, like an old beer hall. Staff are nice. Prices are pretty cheap and they have different special offers every day, which are sometimes really good value. You get a free shot of cherry liqueur at the end of the meal. However... I have been to this restaurant three times.... More
