I didnt expect anything from a café, but this place is full of tradition and taste. Very good portions and the hard part is decide which one to have.

We were recommended to visit this place to eat the local cake. Cake was good but nothing special. However they have a lot to offer and is worth a visit

If you like desserts - BIG desserts - at a moderate price, then go here! I read about the cakes in my Rick Steves' book - but did not believe all of the hype. Boy, was I wrong!! The desserts here were incredible. You cannot go wrong with whatever you order here. Definitely NOT to be missed!!

The place is now called Slaščičarna ZIMA. It offers a wide range of very good pastry, but the best one is of course the famous Bled KREMSHNITA - it is made by the original recipe and I thing it is the cheapest in Bled (This year it costs 2.70 €). In other restaurants in costs over 3 €.

I can eat gluten free cake. Two choices!!😊🤓. There are three types of seating area. Inside., conservatory area or outside.. The cafe is used by locals and travelers alike.

The cakes and desserts here are very good. Everything was full of flavor. I have to admit the seating arrangement is kind of awkward and is not fit for a family of five or more. We had to sit at separate tables:( we still had a good time though!

They have a really great Kremsnita cake, enjoyed it very much and returned for another round in a different day. You can park your car near the place for an hour for free.

The famous cream custard slice was everything it was cracked up to be. I struggled to share it. The coffee was also very good. I'm only knocking a star off for the lack of service from one server who ignored me and even when she served me didn't say a single word. Very rude.

We went like many others thinking we'd have a slice of the cream cake whilst at Lake Bled becuase you had to as it was one of the things to do! But it's delicious at Cafe Zima. We even went twice(!) as after waking 30 km a day we felt we deserved it. The staff are friendly and cope so... More
