This Gostilna is so typical that i would have miss it. On my point of view, if you are staying in Kranjska Gora region for the first time or for a short time, you should go there. Good location, in the old town of Radovljica (closed to bled), the price remain correct, the service is good, and you will find... More
just coincedently I stoped in this town and loved it ,I had a nice coffee in lectar ,even there wasa suprise ,they make cake with heart shapes ,I was told they have been making these cakes from 18 the centry even they showed me how to make it ,I highly recomend to see this place
Gostilna Lectar offers traditional home made Slovenian food. It is located in the old part of Radovljica, just few minutes by car from tourist best known place Bled. The stuff is very polite, the food is delicious. There is also a Gingerbread museum. Highly reccomend this place!
For years now we have been going to this restaurant! Recently we made a stop for lunch and unfortunately I must say we were really disappointed! Prices way too high, very bad service, completely uninterested waitress! I can not say that the food was bad, but it definitely was not in relation with the prices!
The owner and waiter were fantastic and worked with us on our language skills. Very welcoming! More importantly, the selection of foods is fantastic ranging from chicken tenders for the little guys to local sausages and dishes for adults. All very well priced and a gingerbread making museum/kitchen in the basement that is worth a look.
We had dinner once, and the New Year Party at this restaurant. Excellent service, very nice staff, great location, rustic/ethno look, the food is amazing!
Lectar is probably one restaurant where you can feel warm and almost like at home. The food was delicious, especially the famous mushroom soup! I would recomend it to every tourist who is visiting Radovljica or Bled and also to everyone who loves good food!
