Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lively cool spot that offers amazing croissants, buns and coffees. The ham & cheese croissant and the orange blossom custard bun were divine.

Freyja is a cozy little spot for brunch, with a big variety of pastries and coffees. We ordered a pistachio croissant and a pistachio tart. Both were delicious and at a fair price! The cappuccino was also nice, nothing special. As for the staff, they were helpful and patient.

Everything looks good, clean and nice to have a seat to drink a coffee and maybe a croissant. I didn’t like the pastry but I think that’s more a “me problem”

The staff are friendly and the pastries are crispy, tasty and fresh. My husband had a pain au chocolat and I had an almond croissant. Unfortunately we got there too late for the pistacchio croissants because they had run out by the afternoon. Their coffee is quite good too and they have a lactose free option instead of milk.

We randomly passed by this place and we decided to go inside and grab a coffee to go. Of course, there are low chances to not choose son of the pastry varieties so I’ve chosen a classic butter croissant. It is as good as the ones in Paris. Next day, we went again, and had coffee with some of the salty croissant options an it was amazing. If you are a coffee and croissants lover this place should definitely be on your list.

With two locations in Budapest plus something of a mirror in Campbell River Canada Freyja takes its name from an old Norse goddess, and in subtitling itself “- the croissant story” offers an #instagram friendly venue for indulging in laminated Pastries at prices akin to what one might spend in Scandinavian. All clean-lines and hip service, a bilingual duo behind the counter suggesting boxes cost extra before placing selections in bags, guests can expect to pay roughly $5USD per Viennoiserie whether classic like the sliced Almond Croissant with medium-sweet filling or a tall-and-proud Cruffin matching Berries to whipped White Chocolate. The sort of place where diners tend to linger over Coffee, an upscale and quiet clientele enjoying pleasant weather on the patio, it is said each Croissant contains 27-layers whether Pistachio-filled or half-dipped in Chocolate and covered with flaked Coconut, though the best item is actually a butter-soaked coil with fragrant Glaze and Pomegranate Arils on top.

They don't have a huge range but the croissants are first class. Lovely coffee too. We would definitely go back there again

Very cosy place, fast and very nice service, delicious croissants and coffee. A range of sweet and savory croissants and other types of pastries, such as cardamombullar.
