In need of a place for lunch before heading to the market we stopped here. A pleasant surprise with delicious goulash and chicken paprikash at reasonable prices. A small joint with maybe 8 tables upstairs. Friendly staff.

Tasteless and disappointing food. Watery goulasch soup with almost no meet or vegetables. Tasteless noodles with chicken, sprinkled only with a bit of goulasch. Pasta with porcini sauce and duck meat was also bland, you could only taste the cream.

Nice local Hungarian bistro Good pint of Soproni and Goulash soup. The soup tasted nice but wasn’t hot and when served we were just left. This place could be a cracker very easily.

We had rainy day in Budapest and we stopped at first restaurant to hide and eat. We took touristic menu-very tastful dishes and very good apple cake.

Cold, wet Sunday, restaurant was empty, we ate from the tourist menu. The goulash soup was SO good. No complaints at all about the food or service. I recommend this restaurant.

We chose to eat here one evening on the way back to our hotel. We were greeted on the pavement and shown to a table. As we were 5, another table was added to a larger one. The food was relatively straightforward - salads, some...More

We stopped at Paul's late one night while returning to our hotel after roaming around Pest. The friendly service was an immediate draw. Paul's has its own cocktail menu with some pleasingly unique concoctions that hit the spot. We returned for dinner two nights later...More
