We have decided to give this restaurant a go. It proved to be the worst decision of our hungary stay so far. Overpriced, unfriendly staff, the food really tasted like it was reheated and the meat was extremely dry. Service was very poor since the...More

The cold appetizer plate seemed like deli meat from a grocery store with a couple pieces of cheese and olives tossed on the plate. Paprika chicken and steak Budapest style were both very disappointing. On top of that the service was poor. Go somewhere else.

Everything was very tasty except pancakes with cinnamon. Service is very good. The price-quality ratio is good.

The local soup dishes are always worth trying, and we were not disappointed. The Salmon dish was well presented and was delicious. Service was good.

We ordered just two plates of strarters and beer. Tastes were not bad, we liked smoked cheese salad. Location is very clode to historical grand bazaar. If you like to eat like local you may choose for lunch. Prices are low to moderate.

We had experienced a terrible meal in the same street a couple of nights before and were a bit reluctant to try our luck again. However, the restaurant's blackboard menu attracted our attention one afternoon as we were leaving the nearby markets and it looked...More

As a pescatarian, I was frustrated that every restaurant in Budapest seemed to be just meat, meat and more meat. I happened upon this place while strolling down the pedestrian mall and was very pleasantly surprised. My entree of grilled salmon and grilled vegetables was...More

District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,
with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The
Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica
stand out as two of the finest examples of
architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for
more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval
city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while
the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention
