Had dinner whilst staying in the hotel. Three course meal very agreeable and well priced. Cocktails also quite good. Service can be slow although nothing to complain about. The restaurant has an old nostalgic feel to it. Impressive old world deco.

We have spent 2nights there. Even though our window was looking on the busy High Street we didn't hear a noise. Large bed, very comfy. Good sized room also. Breakfast was amazing, can't complain. The staff were extremely friendly, really enjoyed the stay!

The good thing: right at the Astoria metro station. And the restaurant is beautiful, with good food. The bad thing: we get that it is a classic hotel, but there's a way to stay classic and have a good service at the same time. However,...More

We had dinner in this restaurant more than once. The menu doesn't offer a very wide choice, but all the dishes that we tried were very good. The staff is professional and the prices are fair, compared to other touristic places in Budapest. The best...More

Description
The Danubius Astoria, which you already list as the hotel, has a very good has a very good restaurant for lunch time dining - The "Cafe Mirror". The decor is lovely, Air Conditioning is a nice bonus in the hot summer and the "2-Course Businessman's Lunch is a very tasty, well served, bargain at approximately £5/head. I suggest that a separate listing for the restaurant may be of assistance to visitors who may otherwise miss out on a bargain
