I can't tell you how many times I frequented this incredibly tasty Thai Restaurant in the near-month I was in Budapest. The flavors, the taste, the variety of meals - everything was top notch. I highly recommend this place when you need a break from otherwise just as fabulous Hungarian food.

I love how you can customize your order here. Instead of noodles, I chose a vegetable base, with chicken and satay sauce. The portion was nicely sized. With a glass of wine, it came to around $9. I would definitely return.

Nice Thai food, cool atmosphere, a bit overpriced for 'nice' and unique food. The place is always crowded but the service is quick

Ordered the classic pad Thai (2070 ft). From an asian's perspective, it doesn't taste like the authentic pad Thai from Thailand. I will say it's more of an adapted recipe to suit the locals' taste. Perhaps, one should customise instead of ordering the classic one...

Our apartment is next door and tried this place for lunch. Love the place. You have the option to mix and match your food. Great idea and food is pretty good! Yummy! Reasonably priced and the crew is courteous and friendly. Try the pad thai noodles, rice curry and the Tom Ka soup BUT don't forget the dessert- sticky rice!

We've visited padtai in city centre. Staff is nice and food is really good. We ordered 2 fifferent noodles, both were super good. Just make sure you order extra vegetable, as base is really really basic.

Feels like healthy comfort food but it's always special. It's nice that you can combine the ingredients yourself and they also have offers. Portions are big enough for a copious lunch. The padteas are nicely served and taste excellent. It's always quick.

Staying in District V / Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
