It's a tiny tiny place, cheap thus especially crowded .... it's hard to find a seat, and when you do, it can be too noisy to really enjoy the moment.... Popped in here for breakfast on our last day when we were running out of money. Nice busy atmosphere, great sandwiches (I had a salmon and dill one for only 530f) and lovely pastries/coffee. Highly recommend for a quick and inexpensive lunch of breakfast.

I have been here plenty of times, mostly for breakfast or a quick coffee or tea and a pastry during the day. The staff is extremely kind and professional in a very friendly way. They have a lot too choose from and also offer different sets. They have the best yoghurts and delicious lemon juice. Its often filled up inside... More

We chose it by chance, but that was a good fortune. Very crowded place with really good sandwiches and nice coffee plus very "friendly" prices. Sweets were a bit disappointing, on the other hand they have awesome yoghurts. One girl from the staff was clearly irritated by not very quick order (hard to decide in one moment when you wait... Visited the restaurant in the afternoon to get a warm drink. They offer a great range of fresh hot drinks. It was busy that time however, we got a place upstairs to sit, nice and cosy. We decided to visit next day for breakfast too. Lovely fresh sandwiches and friendly staff. Do not miss to visit this place when you... More

Neighbourhood Profile
District V / Inner City
Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube, with its fashionable shops and iconic buildings. The Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica stand out as two of the finest examples of architecture in the area. If you are still hunting for more historical treats, then the ruins of the medieval city walls on Kecskeméti Utca are a must-visit while the Soviet War Memorial is also worthy of attention and relevant to Hungary’s more recent history. If shopping is on your itinerary, then be prepared: the market squares in this area are an absolute delight, particularly during the Christmas period, but even throughout the year you’ll find the latest trends in the shops on Vaci Utca.
