Gay dance night on Saturday is very popular with college-aged guys and women, certainly gets better after midnight but the dance space is small; so, prepare for it to get very crowded, very fast. Music is mostly top 40 and American hits from the 2010s....More

You will find great drinks and tunes. It offers a lot of space so you can fool around and have a nice time. A not to miss spot.

There is a small farmers market held here every Sunday..... food, herbs, ceramics and some other stuff. Its held all the way in the back of the space, come in off the street and keep going through the door at the end of the courtyard.

For me this bar together with U Zlatého Tygra in Prague and Mc Sorley´s in NYC are until now, they are must go bars in the world. Good atmosphere, very good ambient, a delicious Pilsner Urquell Unpasteurized. Great moment at Ankert.

Lots of people come here, it's a well known ruin bar but while it used to be a cool place that had music, food and drinks, a comfortable environment - now it's pretentious, you have to be really dressed up to enter and it's no...More

I ordered an aperol sprits and they gave me water with a slice of orange, without any taste of aperol. When i tell this to the barman his solution is to put orange juice on the drink.... that's not an aperol sprits! I wont be...More

I have been to Budapest a few times before, and so far this place has the best goulash I have tasted. The main different is that the goulash was a little hotter in terms of spice. Absolutely delicious. The place itself has a cool atmosphere...More

We were there on a presentation which was a bit crowded. The seats were too close to each other. I have no much impression about the place and nearly nothing about the bar part. It was cold to sit there for appr 2 hours and...More

Really liked this place, it felt classy and at the same time chilled out. Right in the heart of the city, surrounded by restaurants and other cool places to visit. Was great to have Pilsner Urquell- perhaps my favourite beer- but I thought it was...More

Description
Anker't is the largest open air ruin bar in Budapest. Located in the heart of the old Jewish district in an abandoned historical building just 2 minutes from the Opera. It is one of the main meet-up places for the local art-, expat- and party scene. With its minimalist "ruin-design", wide selection bar, tasty street-food, slick DJ-gigs and vibrant dance floor, Anker't is truly one of those must see cultural strongholds of the Budapest nightlife.
