Our stay in Gerloczy was absolutely fabulous and I would have given it 5 stars apart from the fact that on Sunday morning the cleaner was taken ill and our room wasn't cleaned or our beds made. Other than this I can't fault it. We...More

Ended up here for breakfast when nearby sites were full. Ordered the "wealthy breakfast" which basically is some cured ham, scrambled eggs and a wiener-sausage. For 2990 forints, thats a rip off. Good coffee and good organge juice, but for breakfast, seek out other alternatives....More

Came across this cafe by chance when looking for somewhere to have breakfast. It is a lovely quiet location on a square, however it might become more animated later in the day as it is right across from an Irish pub which seems full of...More

We had breakfast (omelettes, home made flavoured breads) here twice while on a 4 day break away, the food is beautiful, coffee strong and great. Table service excellent and our son loved the attention from them. I'd recommend it for dinner and people watching also,...More

I'm not sure what I expected but I have to say the food was excellent and the presentation was really top class. Nice place to sit and watch the world go by.

We were looking for a hotel to spend a few days after a Danube river cruise. I found this little gam, situated in a pedestrian area of the old city on the Pest side of the river. The rooms have been renovated using the original...More

This small café and restaurant is just a bit of the main roads in Budapest's city centre (on the Pest side), and this makes it a perfect spot in a city where every nice café seems to be filled with masses of tourists. It's in...More

Incredibily slow service. Went for breakfast. Everything had to be asked three times: the water, and also the butter that arrived after the bread was finished. The food is not bad but nothing special either. The staff was incredibily rude after we pointed out they...More

Discover the Inner City along the banks of the Danube,

Inner-City Parish Church and St. Stephen’s Basilica

They had a piano player one evening when we ate there, downstairs, but no "entertainment" as such. It's a lovely, refined bistro with excellent food and service.
