I love this place. I've been there several times and the food is always really good. They have a big menu, I recommend especially baby squid and the spinach with ham. The restaurant is small and cosy. Prices are totally fair.

On our recent trip to Budapest, found this place and were glad we did. Thinking of more Hungarian food, we stumbled on this tapas place and found ourselves enjoying a variety of seafood, spicy Italian-style sauces, some meatballs, salads and nice wines to go along with it all. Sat outdoors, not really a square, but almost, people watching. Service was... More

I was sceptical about eating here as I usually prefer to try local dishes rather than 'imported' food styles when in different countries but I have to say this place is amazing and the tapas is as good as any I've had in traditional Spanish villages. Finding us a space was no trouble for the staff although booking is a... More

We spent 5 days in Budapest and Pata Negra was best restaurant, where we visited. You should really try grilled beef entrecote!

Spent an extremely enjoyable night here in March of this year. All the tapas we had were good with the braised oxtail in foie sauce and the octopus standing out as being excellent. Great atmosphere, good menu, nice decor. I was also very impressed with the knowledge of the staff who recommended dishes to us and especially with the young... More

We had here a romantic dinner. We have tasted three tapases. Butterfish, cheese plate - 5 stars Chorizo sausage - 4 stars (it was too heavy dish) The staff is very nice and kind and helpful. They explained everything in details without any impatience. Nice place, i can just offer to try it!

My girlfriend and I went there tonight, after making a reservation the day before. We'd tried to go last week without a reservation but all the tables were booked. That said, at least five were empty, and that's just outside (it was a nice night, so we assume most people wanted to eat outside and there were at least a... More

A nice range of food, but the tables were very small and at times we were not quite sure what we were eating. Great tastes and the beer and sangria were very good.
