A local recommended this place and the chicken paprika. It was not horrid, it was just very average. Staff were patient and helpful.

A restaurant with many plates and traditional Hungarian cuisine. The food was good, prices were low and it is a bit crowded so you might wait in line to get a table. The staff spoke English but not well enough.

When we arrived there was a line but within minutes we were at a table and our food came promptly. I had goulash soup which was very tasty. Well worth a visit. Cheap in comparison to other restaurants in the area.

Good place to have a quick meal in Budapest. Great quality/price ratio to try some Hungarian tastes. Chicken paprika was pretty good. Some communication problems with the staff.

I would recommend it to any young foreign student living in Budapest center or travelers who want to save money and want to try some of the typical Hungarian dishes, but, honestly, just for them. Fast food quality, really nothing special. The drinks are the...More
