After long, cold day we spent on walking around Budapest this place was a great finish. Service was awesome, lady was very well oriented and she was able to recommend some great meals. Very big plus for good English! Food was very tasty, especially potato-mushroom soup. Definitely worth to go there to enjoy Hungarian cuisine!

Very central location for a small a bit packed restaurant. Too many tables for a small place but not that bad. Went there on a Saturday early night and managed to get a table easily. If you are more than two persons would be hard to find a table. Food is ok but nothing really special. If you already had... More

The food was ok but nothing special. My wife ordered chicken with paprika and gnocchi which was not tasty, i had the pork fillets with dijon and honey sauce which was better. The staff wasn't very friendly and polite and not so smiley as well. The prices were good. Overall, a nice but not great experience!

I went to this restaurant with friends for dinner on New Year's Eve and was delighted with the experience. A special menu was arranged for the evening so there was no ordering from the menu but choices of three dishes for each of the 5 courses. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and cozily decorated for the time of year.... More

Managed to get a last-minute booking for NY Eve. Very good, rich, set menu. Pricey, but good value for money. Excellent wines, very friendly service, cosy ambiance. Right downtown, just across from the Basilica. Well worth a visit.

My dear friend Paulo ate special hungarian dish, deer's meat but he wasn't impressed at the beginning. You can imagine if the owner of the best pizza restaurant in Vrboska says that your meat isn't good enough. He said it has a strange taste but at the end he also ate his girlfiend's lunch. Staff weren't polite enough and they... More

We had three nights in Budapest and had dinner here twice. Food was excellent - deer stew and duck (pink) highly recommended. Lovely atmosphere. Both times we booked - it was necessary - and people were queuing out the door whilst we were there. Good food at at excellent price. Two course meal each with two glasses of wine each... More

Visited this place two times during our stay in Budapest. The first time was really nice, we tried the goulash soup, the chicken breast stuffed with chestnuts and the chicken breast in the clay pot. All tasted nice, service was fast and kind. The second time it was a bit different. The service was fast but not that kind. Probably... More
