Great hungarian food, excellent selection of wines. Very nice ambiance in this very light bistro. We were a bit skeptical at first as it looks very "cafe" but it was a great experience to dine there and the waiters really know wine and food! They...More

The food is awesome. Got a veal carpaccio and the duck for main course. Prices are reasonable if you're European but expensive for Budapest. Service not so great but what's new in Budapest. Unfortunately pricy food doesn't buy you a smile! I was disappointed by...More

I was here with a team. We had dinner in this restaurant as the place is very close to our hotel where we stayed. We had a good food but with a surprise: be careful -> in case you ask to recommend a wine, waiter...More

Drink glass of wine (1dl) and enjoy together withh classic meat dishes (game, tartar, steak, goos liver). No fish. Lunch is better than dinner times. Let the service staff make the choice for you. Price for an excellent lunch with 5-7 glass of wine is...More

With a comprehensive menu that includes local dishes and some more internationally recognised choices, Bock Bistro is well worth a visit. It can get busy but the atmosphere is good as was the service. The only negative was the menu could be too challenging for...More

District VII / Jewish Quarter
District VII is the very heart of Budapest and houses
the city’s Jewish Quarter. Its streets are lively and
colorful, its buildings narrate different histories in
an assortment of architectural styles, and its cafes
and bars are frequented and loved by the enthusiastic
crowds. Grand and magnificent, the striking star of
the district is the Great Synagogue, the largest in
Europe and one of the biggest in the world. Distinctly
