The menu offers European and Hungarian food ,with descriptions of the dishes in Hungarian, German and English. The portions are large enough to satisfy me so I don't have soup , a starter or dessert. Location is to the north of the city with a scenic view over the city from the other side of the road. The food is... More

The food is grossly overpriced and every dish, including the dessert was disappointingly low quality. Never going to eat there again or recommend to anyone.

The restaurant is ok. Lovely place. The surrounding is romantic (water from the mountain!) and offers nice walking route. Typical Hungarian food (my mother had the brain of a pig!!).

It's an old joke -- "The food's a disappointment." "So why do you keep going there?" "They give you so much of it!" -- but it perfectly sums up a lunch at the Tettye Vendéglõ this past week. Nothing particularly distinguished about the German recipes refracted through a Hungarian kitchen, nothing that raised their execution above that available in any... More

It's a retro style, very simple but crowded, smelly place. You can try the traditional hungarian kitchen's dishes in a very big portion and high price. For hungarians: It's like an average suburban restaurant with expensive and boring hungarian dishes. For foreigners: Good but you can find better restaurant in Pécs....

The restaurant is located on the hill near the arboretum and big playground area. Food is excellent, service as well. Recommended also for the family with small kids.

This restaurant was recommended to me by the receptionist at the hotel I was staying at. I went there on my first night in Pecs and was so impressed I returned every night thereafter! Yes, the decor is a bit '70's and the music's a little kitsch but that just added to the charm for me. The menu is available... More

Not in center of Pecs but worths a walk to go there. A restaurant would deserve a face lift but it does not really matter until the food is that delicious. If you seek for authentic hungarian tastes go there!
