If you walk into a restaurant with small children to being told in a rude way by the waitstaff they have all tables occupied, and visibly all tables are empty, this is very upsetting. For me, it is off putting and I walked away. Its not worth to argue if you are not welcomed. I highly recommend walking down a... More

I had here a working lunch. The restaurant is completely suited for it, we were seated within seconds, the waiter showed up immediately and took our order. The food was served very quickly. These factors are all required for a fast but enjoyable working lunch. I ordered beef bone soup with liver dumplings and a huge breaded cutlet, and both... More

The food was amazing. We ate a lunch there and they served such a great portion that it was pretty enough till dinner (even for Hungarian stomach). The service was fast, waiters were nice, we liked the atmosphere, the only problem was that it was a bit crowded.

We were lucky to have stumbled upon this restaurant when our destination place was closed. Large variety of good, home cooking-style food, large portions, friendly service in spite of a busy evening. Excellent value, highly recommended.

It is a restaurant with an old world charm. Very rustic, very nice staff and the food is superb. We went for lunch and I had goulash soup which was great. All my friends loved whatever they ate. It was a quick lunch before my lecture started at the nearby Department of Dermatology but I would have liked to spend... More

The best fish soup we have ever had! Sitting in the cool garden in the hot summer, enjoying the excellent fish soup in this restaurant.. I wish to return! Excellent friendly service.

Fantastic restaurant, crowded in lunch and dinner time, with good reason. Excellent food, real hungarian tastes. Make sure to try their goulash (perkelt is the name), that is the first thing we do every time in Szeged.

The szeged style fish soup in a pot was served with bread. The soup was tasty and service was nice. On Saturday the restaurant was quite full, and many tables were reserved. Good experience 😊
