Stumbled upon this restaurent by chance and what a nice discovery :-) We ordered a soup and a salad - both were small masterpieces. The soup was a smooth potatocream with chantarelles garnished with a egg yolk powder which had a sweet and interesting taste. A great starter! The bread that accompanied the dish was also lovely - a local... More

Came here on a recommendation and couldn't have been happier. I was with my partner (who is from Slovakia), brother, sister in-law and 14 year old nephew. All 5 of us had a great time and had the best food and service. Everything was cooked to perfection and the wine from Slovakia was lovely. Our waiter was charming and professional.... More

Great home made food, all fresh and unique recipes. Delicious. Prawn saffron risotto and buckwheat noodles with truffle and chicken are my favourites. Must try. Restaurant itself looks stunning. Vero cosy and romantic.

We had Grilled Trout as a starter and Chicken breast for main course. Both were cooked to perfection and the garnish was superb. Service was efficient and friendly. Value for money. The setting of the place was very medieval.

Really quiet on the Friday night in August when we arrived to stay at the Arcadia Hotel. Only one other couple in the hotel's restaurant. They enjoyed their meal and so did we. Sometimes, when it's that slow, the service suffers from lack of rhythm. Not so here--our server was attentive without being intrusive. His recommended Slovakian wine went well... More
