POD KAMENNYM STROMOM was a superb Old Town Tavern we visited last year were we enjoyed some delicious beer's while listening to a wonderful jazz band. A cracking cellar tavern with arched ceilings and cool decor and furnishings, the brick serving bar is functional and very eye catching and the overall effect of this tavern is awesome. They also have an... More

Fairly good, open-to-all pub with good Czech beer on tap and tasty snacks. Nice, open-minded staff. Fair prices. Free WiFi. Separate smoking and non-smoking compartments.

They have czech local good brewery, and they do every day different 4-7 food. When the food is finished, then is finished. It's underground space / looklike medieval cellar long time ago. nowadays with new outfit. You will find here local people, artists, musicians, intellectuals, university students. Because they have very good price comparing to quality of foodand bier. On... More

I was alone when I visited for a beer and lunch. But I didn't feel alone for long, because the friendly guys in the bar made me right at home very quickly. I tried all their beers and had a lovely lunch. I highly recommend this bar!

Lovely place with friendly service, simple but nice menu, great beer and certainly one of the better Salmon Trouts you can find in Bratislava. Great and well hidden outside seating in the middle of town centre. Certainly one of my preferred places.

We were very happy to find ourselves in this tiny fish place tucked in a courtyard on Sedlarska street. Quite a charming atmosphere. We had the grilled trout served with grilled potatoes. Perfect lunch. The rest room is located inside the bar next door which is underground. It was really cool. See photos. If we had time, we would have... More

I am a regular customer to "Pod Kamennym stromom" and I need to say that I like to be. There is always good friendly atmosphere, and lots of people. The price for dinner (usually fish + one other meal) is reasonable and Bernard (served beer) is really tasty. Sometimes, there is longer waiting time for orders on terrace, even you... More

I have been there twice in my life & now I must share that no matter the waiter/waitress there is, service is for real the worst I ve ever experienced..anywhere. They are rude to customers or they do not even react many times. I ve been there as couple for dinner and as bigger group from school.. both ended a... More

Based on our experience couldn't see why this place was rated so high. The food was OK but small portions. Service was poor, we had to chase our drinks order as food arrived first. We didnt get what food we ordered and a bottle of wine with 3 glasses became just 3 glasses of wine. Be aware the locals like... More

It is a courtyard with wooden tables. Relaxing and reasonably priced, it offers an escape from a use tourist street, full of pubs itself. The staff of those pubs is quite unfriendly unlike those in Pod Kamennym Stromom. Cheers
