The problem of the restaurant was, that we had a reservation, but after the sensational food tour of the afternoon, we were not hungry. The restaurant is hugh with lots of history and historic furnishing. It is also very reasonable priced. Disappointing was, that our group of nine had to wait for a simple food order more than an hour,... More

We visited the place in the afternoon, for dining and deserts. The food is ok, but nothing special. The staff doesn't speak english fluently, sometimes it was very hard to understand each other.

This is what it is and remember it's aimed at tourists, cheaper than the Scottish and Irish pub opposite though! It's just off the main square

Nice place with few cozy wood stoves standing around, we were served quite quickly but the staff was very bored, could be more friendly instead of yawning loudly like a bear (literally!). We had very good bean soup and halušky with sausage. Halušky itself was great dish but sausage was way to salty (but that's probably not their fault). If... More

Authentic, traditional, amazing food in a tipycal slovackian atmosphere. It is absolutely suggested for young people, the only thing we were disappointed about was the hygiene, a Little bit not proper.

The rudest staff I have ever seen.. We went to this pub and we asked them where to sit and they insulted us. When we sitted we asked to help us for our order and they do not inform us. Very rude staff, we have spoken with 3 of them. As for the food not bad, but not something exciting.

This place is huge, but don't let that put you off..it has several rooms and has a cosy old time atmosphere and dedicated smoking rooms for those who still love a fag.The beer is excellent , service good and the meal we had was great €32 for two meals and 6 beers ..what is not to like !

As the title says: the food (cabbage soup and potato dumplings) rocks. The waitress is serving on flip flops. Wouldn't actually recommend that in a pub. It was a cold november day and they made a fire to warm the place. It was very nice but the flipflops keep confusing me while I write.

We ordered 6 various traditional plates of Slovakia with ham and cheese . All tasted awesome. The place is huge and the decoration very interesting. The prices little bit above the average.
