I went hoping in vain to find local specialties, as I had been told. Only local "specialty" was a couple of ladies (of the night?) staring at foreign men. The English menu is misleading. Food is fine. In conclusion, it might be enjoyable in the summer, when one can sit outside, but avoidable in the winter.

Renovated passage between ancient renovated buildings. Has a guest house, pizza place, winery, restaurant and steak house on a 50 yards distance. Cannot say anything about quality of service and food as we went through early morning when everything was closed...

The pretty lovely food and attentive service were spoiled after we received a bill... which includes 8€ for two jars of the tap water. In the country where an average price of 1000 liters of water cost 1,5€ to charge 8€ for 2 liters it's a shame.

One part of this passage is old Winery. I love their idea of making barrels into tables, walls covered in wine bottles and lounge music. Great selection of wines and rum. Perfect place to relax in the evening.

Visited pizza restaurant. Waiter doesn't speak Russian. Pizza was not so tasty. Prices are not high. Посетил в пассаже пиццерию. Официанты плохо говорят по русски. Пицца не впечатлила. Цены не высокие.

We found this passage of restaurants near our hotel and ate there three times during our two day visit. The food is delicious, especially the beet soup. Both my husband and I enjoy eating outside and found this area to be perfect for our needs.

I nice place to eat, especially when it's warm enough to sit outside. The Fredricho Passage located in the Old Town and sort of incorporates several restaurants. The food is very good, nice setting and lovely ambience. Families/children friendly.

This bustling passageway/street offers a wide variety of types of food. We opted for "Smukle" so we could eat Lithuanian. To go with our beer we had two 'beer snacks'. The split peas and pig's ear is delicious but the ear pieces are chewy (rather than crisp like scratchings) meaning it isn't a dish for the feint hearted. The deep... More

Friedrich's arcade is one of the most vivid symbols of Klaipeda. Long and colorful history of the old town and progressive modernism meets here. This unique space represents the lively tradition of the biggest European capitals to transform whole streets into arcades that unite cozy cafes, restaurants, stylish boutiques and guest houses in one place. The arcade opened in 2006 and was named to commemorate a historic personality - King Friedrich Wilhelm III of Prussia who resided in Klaipeda during the Napoleon war. Today Friedrich's arcade is rightfully titled by Klaipeda citizens and city's guests as probably the coziest attraction centre with the most unique aura on the Lithuanian coast. Everybody who comes for a cup of coffee, business lunch or dinner with a company of friends is welcomed here. Once you visit Friedrich's arcade you will feel what it means to stop the moment. And you will want to come back once again with your most honorable guests.
