I visited the restaurant with my family. Food was delicious but the service was terrible from the start. It looked like the waitress had a bad mood. At first she wanted to bring drinks, but i was the only one who she asked what do i want to drink. There were 8 other persons. My child was even afraid to ask the dessert menu. If i pay so much for the food i assume that the service is also on top. At the end the waitress went a little bit friendlier, but that doesn’t change the big picture. Sad! Now i read the other reviews and i saw that it’s a bigger issue.
But i have to say that chef made a good job - that tuna steak was so good. Also my other family members said that everything was so tasty.

Food was good, tasty, excellent. Service was slow, not recommending anything and cleaning the table was very slow. It is expensive and fancy restaurant, our expectations for service are much higher.

It's located outside the city, but since good places are worth driving there extra, we went there. For a restaurant called Meat Resto, I expected more from meat. Was not beyond the average, the way they had grilled it, it was more like just burned outside. Bitter taste. The srvice was random. Only thing we like was dessert. Not worth planning another visit there.

The restaurant is pretty new and modern looking. The location is middle of nowhere. Reservation seems to be recommended.
As a starter we ordered grilled tiger prawns. I'll have to admit that they were one of the best that I have eaten anywhere in the world. Just perfectly charred and the sauce was delicious. The main course I had ordered a Tar-Tar steak with fries and my son took New York strip steak. He ordered his steak as a medium rare, and it was served medium well. When we told the waitress this, she took the steak back to the kitchen and returned back with the same steak in 5 minutes. They have cut the steak and started to argue that it was a medium rare, but we can't see it because the natural light doesn't show the redness! The steak was already started to cool down too. My Tar-Tar was deacent, but very tastless, so I wouldn't order it again.
As a compensation they offered the wine that we drank with the meal. The bill for two was 88€, with the compensation.
Overall judgement, prawns were excellent, but they do not know how to grill and serve steaks. Even though this is a steak restaurant.

Excellent place to eat meat and not only. Also tuna was a masterpiece. Side dishes are full of flawour and suit well to whole ensemble. Estonian beef tenderloin was cooced to perfection and as ordered- medium rare. Pluss points also to appetizer plate.

I have visited this place many times before and always been satisfied with the service and quality of the food. Unfortunately this time the service was slow, the meat was first time over-cooked. We sent it back and got new one that was better, but unfortunately it did not taste as it usually have tasted. Seemed like the meat was either been frozen or not fresh… sad as it has been by far my family’s most favorite meat restaurant in Tallinn area. Must say that the desert was very good still

We ordered medium rare steak and we got meat that was close to well done. Waitress said that chef used a thermometer and everhything was as it was supposed to be. We used to love this place but we are not going back there anymore

The waitress was arrogant and rude. The quality of the food was poor and the steak was inedible. This place does not deserve the name of a restaurant and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Arrogant and terrible service, do yourself a favor and not leave your money there. Sad is that it has been that way for years, and I have given them couple of second chances, but this was the final one.

Arrogant service with no respect to clients, food is medium, prices rather high. We will never return! We gave the restaurant the second chance, but not a third. Enough!

We had tiger shrimp, beef pasta and Angus beef. All the meals tasted really good! Steaks were cooked perfectly. Definitely will revisit!

We had lunch here and it was very nice. The service was extremely quick and we had our meal within 5 minutes after ordering. The quality is great, the food is very tasty.

It's such a good looking place with big potential but service ruins almost everything. I had simple dinner. Steak tartar came unseasoned and almost tasteless. No salt and pepper on the table and no one offers anything. Worst mistake was with mains. I have ordered black Angus tasting menu which should have 3 pieces of meat from better cuts but received two cheap cuts. I completely forgot that I should have 3 cuts and just get a flashback while I was eating. When I asked about it they said it was mistake and if I would like additional steak.... Take away!!!!! Seriously??? Steak takeaway?????? It's - 3c outside and it meat will be cold before I even get to the car. On top of that they would try to charge me for better cuts while serving cheap ones. Well done!! Another mains was ok but prawns were overcooked and completely dry. Maybe one day when they get professional staff and get rid of sea food from menu, since kitchen doesn't know how to cook it, then it will be nice place to visit. Meat is pretty nice and well grilled.

First of all, this place has style. Very basic and minimalist interior works as a charm, and the staff is very inviting when you arrive.
That´s all the good thing about the staff here, they take your coat nicely but it certainly ends there. Otherwise most of the staff members seem to be a bit lost, and often make mistakes with the orders or don´t even really know what they are serving. As a waiter your job is to know which part of meat you are about to server.
On the other hand the food is great, especially the steaks. The tartars are a bit tasteless and the desserts are very average, but as the name suggests, meat is what they can cook.
Definitely worth a visit!
